Waiter is always so nice and went out his way to make me some sauce not on the menu so I could enjoy my shrimp better. (Gatlic butter) all waiters checked on us throughout our dinner and the manager did as well. Love this place. Food is always so good.

Had lunch with 4 friends and each were very pleased with their meals. I had the burritto with shredded chicken that was enormous and very tasty.

Do NOT GO HERE, if you are a light eater. The food was soooooooo good! I couldn't finish it. The portions were great for the price. I will go there everytime and fill up for the days...

They have an outdoor patio with plenty of tables. Enter the patio and you will see the front door.
They have bright colors and nice traditional Mexican decor. With a soft touch of neon lights inside. The music is not too loud, it's perfect for conversation.
There is also a bar with a great selection. Great place to go on a date. The staff are friendly and attentive. I ordered popusas revueltas very tasty.

I decided to try this place after looking at their menu. Mario’s did not disappoint. The vibe was vibrant and lively. The food and margaritas were on point. The service was exemplary. I didn't get to try the pupusas or tamal, the main reason for going, so I'll have to return. I ordered the brisket plate, which I enjoyed. The portions were plentiful for one. Highly satisfied.
The only issue I had was to return a drink because of a crack in the margarita glass.

I am a constant visitor of this place, living in the oaklawn area!
The food is pretty solid depending on the dish! My favorite to have is the carne asada which is perfectly cooked as asked. Yesterday was the first time I had their margarita, as I am very picky with my drinks! The margarita is DELICIOUS! The perfect Sunday funday drink. It is not overly sweet and it packs a punch! A MUST HAVE! I had the strawberry and mango and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
My friend always has the enchiladas and he says they’re the best he’s had!
The service is overall friendly, but yesterday our waiter Emerson went out of his way to be kind! Excellent service by him!
I will always continue to return to Mario’s! A staple in the oaklawn area!

Love this spot! The atmosphere is light, staff is friendly, food is delicious (especially the flank steak 🥩), and the drinks are pretty strong. I will say the beans aren't the greatest sidedish and could use some improvement but you probably aren't coming here for that. Great experience overall.
