The food was great, definitely will go back. The chimichurri steak was ok it needed something else but the best one I had was the Chipotle BBQ Pork and the Kobe Smash Burger is aways my wife favorite
The only thing I'd like to see is if they went back to cane sugar sodas like they used to have.

Velvet tacos is by far our favorite taco place. Our family favorite is #12 and the elote. The ingredients are always fresh and everything is made in house. The tacos are very large and filling.

Thank you to the manager who gave it all on the house, and there was no flickering of eyelashes but simply the British accent and a very warm welcome to Mckinney.

Fantastic food, quick service, great drinks (try the sangrita!) and a really upbeat but relaxed atmosphere. Love the vibe at this place, and can’t fault the food! The buffalo chicken taco was the best, and the elote guac is not to be missed either.

Really cool design and even cooler tacos! They have a broad variety of tacos to order, including vegetarian options. The tacos came out fast and fresh, and filled with flavor. The queso was surprisingly good but a small size. The shrimp taco was by far the winner of the tacos we tried that day, but all were worthy of coming back for.

The food was great! The tacos are a little pricey but they have a great taste and quality for the price. Definitely recommend the chicken and waffles taco.

Loved every bite and moment at Velvet Taco! The Chicken and Waffle taco and the Chipotle BBQ pork taco were outstanding. The tots with egg were better than I could have imagined. And shout out to the Jalapeño Popper Guac which looked like it would be underwhelming but was stellar. Chef's kiss!

Great taco spot. I stopped in for lunch and had the chimichurri steak taco, Korean fried rice, and pork belly special. All were amazing! Super friendly staff and great outdoor space.

Excellent tacos and service! Seating indoors and outdoors. Wasn't too busy on a Monday evening. We ordered the chicken Tikka, BBQ pulled pork, and brisket barbacoa tacos. We liked the BBQ pulled pork, chicken tikka, and brisket (in this order). Eloltes was also excellent. We also ordered a margarita, which was okay. Their red velvet cake was the big surprise. So moist and absolutely delicious. The red hot sauce on the tables is awesome. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Will visit again to try their other offerings.
