I feel bad because I didn't get the name of the lovely ladies in there but they are just as sweet as the cakes are. Such nice people and there is a wide variety of delicious cakes. They sell slices, small cakes, big cakes, whatever you need, for whatever occasion. I got the old fashioned marble and it was unreal! First time there but not the last!
Was greeted upon entry, a large lobby for everyone to walk around, plenty of options to choose from - slices of cakes, small cakes, large cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. There were cake supplies available as well. There is an app for frequent purchases with rewards of free slice of cake on your birthday and a free cupcake on your first order.
We went to Susie cakes to place a cake order for my mothers birthday and did not expect such an amazing level of hospitality! Maybe took our order and she was amazing, kind and sweet. She told us to sign up for the app; we did this and received $10 off our order and two free cupcakes. She went out of her way to help me and my dad get right for my mother’s birthday! If you are thinking about ordering from here, please do they have such wide variety and lovely staff!
We just left Susie Cakes and will definitely be back! We are new to Dallas and we’re excited to try cupcakes in our new hometown. Cat was such a sweetheart and welcomed us to our new city and helped us pick out some delicious treats to try on the house. Top notch people and cupcakes! Super delicious and a wonderful experience at the store. Ordered a 9-in red velvet birthday cake for my kid. Online ordering is smooth and easy When I came to pick it up, I wasn't happy with the way the cake looked. Staff on hand noticed my disappointment, asked me about it and then took the cake to the back and made it so beautiful and happy. As expected, cake was a big hit at the party and yummy. I like the way these guys do business and looking forward to come back the next occasion.
Ordered a chocolate cake for my sons birthday and it was so moist! Delicious! They were also able to do the Raphael custom cake I requested. Also tried their coconut cupcake which was sooo yummy! Tried 3 other cupcakes as well, the red velvet, chocolate and cherry. Everything was great. Will be back! Great customer service too.
My wife and I came in here for the first time, recently, and were met with a very welcoming wholesome staff that gave us two terrific recommendations. The red velvet and marble cakes were terrific, and we’ll definitely come back again!
The staff was sooo nice and helpful. I was a little indecisive (lol), but they were very patient. I’m not the hugest sweet person, but I did get a red velvet cupcake and a chocolate chip cookie. If you LOVE sweets, the cupcakes will probably be your bestfriend. If you’re not a huge sweet person, the cookies will be on your good side. But thanks again and shoutout to Michael for being patient and walking me through their selections.
Great and friendly staff. Tried 5 different cupcakes and a cake: chocolate, vanilla, coconut, strawberry, red velvet, and the carrot cake. They were all good but don’t expect to finish your serving. The frosting was a bit too sweet even for the kids. No one finished the frosting.
I work near the bakery and my company ordered the celebration cake for St. Patrick’s Day. It tasted like I was eating a cake version of a sugar cookie, but better! It was so moist and the icing was amazing. I loved it so much, I ordered a cake from them for a bridal shower I’m going to! I’m a sweets person and picky about where I get any of my desserts from.
Update: Everyone at the bridal shower loved the cake!
