The food was just average in my opinion. If you've never had real Chinese food then this will probably appear to be good. We got the beef noodle soup, pan fried pork and cabbage dumplings, and Peking noodle with pork.
The beef in the beef noodle soup wasn't tender, and the flavor was just lacking.
The pan fried pork and cabbage dumplings wasn't bad, but wasn't spectacular either.
The peking noodle was also just average.
They are dog friendly and have outdoor seating, so that's a plus. We had our puppy with us that day so choices were somewhat limited.

Stopped by for some dumplings and had to get the pork dumplings the cashier recommended and the soup dumplings.
Pork dumplings came out and I was surprised by the thickness of the dough, HOWEVER, not at all chewy. Nice and fluffy, and I loved the folds. Their hot chili oil was amazing and tasted home made, their sauce was delicious too!
The soup dumplings were beautiful and tasty, definitely more on the meaty size.
Super cute and quite place to come for a nice book, their patio is lovely, will be back once this heat is over.
Terrific dumping and noodle restaurant. The food is fresh and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of options. We tried about half the menu with our large group, and everything was delicious. Treat yourself to this great neighborhood restaurant. Kid and dog friendly. There are lots of options for vegetarians.
Hello Dumpling has been on my list to try for a while now and I was slightly disappointed by the food. The dumplings were delicious, but the vegetarian noddle soup had very little flavor. We had originally wanted to get two soups, but I'm glad we only got one. The service was good though. The man at the counter knew we were on a time crunch and told us how long it took to cook each food. I would get dumplings here again, but would probably skip anything else.
I tried the fried pork dumplings and the braised beef soup. They’re definitely homemade. I enjoyed the dumplings just would have preferred the dumplings a little more fried. The braised beef soup was decent it needed more flavor however when I went I was feeling a bit sick and the soup gave me energy so it’s definitely a great soup to have when feeling sick maybe it has vitamin? Idk but it made me recover fast.
Have been coming here for a few years and their food always hits. My favorite is stopping by for a snack, the chicken basil bites and a ginger brew (anti inflammatory) but the Bao buns are smackin and the boba is great plus the free lemon/cucumber/etc water
workers were sooooo kind and helped narrow down what we wanted to get and thoroughly explained the menu. kid friendly as well!

Cute little store that creeps on the edge of Dallas. Has a nice vibe of modern Asian with good traditional food flavor. I was very pleased with the openness and amount of natural light in nearly every crevice of the location.
I'm a huge fan of beef noodle soup - so much that I sometimes dream of the melty braised meat. Hello Dumpling delivers just that. It's very clear that the broth and noodles are made in house - a touch on the more salty side of your traditional noodle soups, but packs a big punch of flavor that will leave you wanting more. The pieces of beef melt in your mouth, which is great. And if you're a fan of chewier noodles (yes, that's me) then you'll really like the ones they have here.
Dumplings were great. The restaurant lives up to the name - great flavor with fresh ingredients. Has a good amount of crisp to the pot stickers without being too dry. Plenty of options for chicken and beef lovers as well (not just your typical pork + leek combo).
A great option if you're looking for Asian cuisine in East Dallas.
Started at five stars -- and keeps getting better. Hello Dumpling is a top spot for authentic Chinese cooking, with homemade dumplings and noodles. It excels in precision and presentation -- and allows you to bring your own (alcoholic) bottle for indoor and outdoor seating. The standard menu is strong enough, and the rotating specials make it even better.
Great looking place and design from the outset. Service is kind, food is very reasonably priced. Bubble tea is also more cost friendly than the current market rates elsewhere. Their seasonal dishes are outstanding.
We got skewers (which were awesome), dumplings, and noodles. Food taste wise, I wouldn’t say it’s the very best I’ve ever had, but for a quick lunch bite, it totally fits the bill. Will be back!
