Cute little restaurant west of downtown. It seemed like a slightly sketchy area but so glad we stopped in! Friendly service and the biggest menu selection known to man. The salsa was spicy and plentiful so that's a win. Next time I'll need to try the sopapillas.
We love Herrera's. My husbamd and I love going to have hour bowl of menudo is like a tradition for our sunday morning
Had Lunch there today.....Bada$$!! Awesome food, great service. Best Mexican in The Big "D"!!!!!
One of our regulars. We enjoy there bean soup and lunches. We are over 60 so can't take too much spicy food. There's is just right for my stomach. We have been coming here for over 15 yrs 3 or 4 times a month. When my husband worked the guys at Otis Elevator would often meet there for lunch. Now we just go because we like it.
Hasn't lost it's touch. I ate here 13 years ago for the first time and still is awesome to this day. Where I'm from there isn't much of Mexican places that are above sub par. There is like a dozen or more and they are all owned or ran by the same owner. This is what I miss about the Dallas area; good Mexican food.
Tried this place when nearby Avila's was closed for remodeling. Nice, family atmosphere. Highlight of the meal was a bean soup with cilantro. Excellent! I'll go again.
Perfect Spot for Lunch. Good wait-staff, good food, quick service, and good prices. Can't beat that for a good lunch. I am a regular here.
Good breakfast. When I lived in Uptown, this was a regular place to go on Sunday mornings. I almost always got the chorizo plate, which had just the right amount of flavor and grease. The tortilla chips have an unusual pecan flavor, and the salsa is decent. Unassuming and friendly atmosphere - what a good, cheap Tex-Mex joint should be.
Went here with a coworker on a Thursday! Turn Up kareokee. The guests/family was life and joy to my soul. Aug 3 is Bianca Birthday!!!! See you Thursday
We have gone to the Herrera's restaurants for years. Today was the first time I tried this location. It was as good as the other locations!
My first time at this location, but I can tell you...the food was excellent and the wait staff was wonderful. If you're hungry for some good Mexican food, this is the place.
The best Mexican food in Dallas! Expect to wait unless not going in peak hours. Parking stripes are close together so park around back where they are spaced out more. Been going to Herrerra’s for over 35 years. Talked with owner and so happy they reopened. She said they were able to get the same cooks since like the 1970’s..
Came on a slow day but the service was great along with the food. Best beef fajitas I have ate from a restaurant. I even forgot to take a picture of a full plate so here's my almost empty plate. Prices are ok but the food was worth it. Not a long wait either, but again I came on a slow day and time.
Came from Austin with my mom auntie and cousin we were riding around. The corner of my eye caught this cool
Little cafe called Herrera’s cafe. Must say the food was great the service was fantastic. The atmosphere was a whole vibe
Great service and incredible food. We each had different flavors of their margaritas and they were all great. My special was so big, they brought it out on two dinner plates. Fantastic.
Great place to grab a meal with friends or family. And the staff Is quick and nice
Over three different visits, overall the food was really good. At times the service could be slow to get the attention of a waitperson. The atmosphere was okay. The top shelf Margaritas were really good.
The beef enchiladas with a beef taco was delicious and the charro beans most flavorable. Actually was alot of food. Our waitress was extremely attentive and very hospitable. 10/10
