I've been wanting to visit this spot for years, but I don't visit downtown Dallas enough to stop by. My manager recently reminded me of this place, and I was downtown for an anime convention, so it was perfect timing. The restaurant is a little outdated and dirty, but that's how you know the food is going to be FIRE.
The menu was simple and easy to understand. You have your typical street tacos, tortas, quesadillas, and drinks. Luckily, we came right before the dinner rush because after we sat down, the restaurant was PACKED and the line went from one end to the other.
The tables were pretty dirty. I'm not sure if the workers wipe them down after someone sits there, but I grabbed some paper towels and wiped them before sitting. My boyfriend and I ordered 10 tacos, each with different meats so we can try them out. I also got a horchata fresca as well, and it was one of the best horchata that I tried. Idk what they did, but the drink was light, and there wasn't too much of that grainy part inside. It took about 10 mins for the tacos to come out, and HOLY SH*T, the tacos were ALL SO FREAKIN' GOOD!!! I loved my typical lingua and tripe tacos, but the highlight was the suadero tacos. I think that's a thin slice of beef, but it was juicy and authentic and they have the perfect amount of onion and cilantro.
I regret not buying more of the suadero tacos, and the line was too long for me to get some to-go. I took off one star because of the cleanliness. I usually don't mind but the tables were really dirty and there were flies flying around. I'll definitely grab like 6+ tacos next time for myself because I've been thinking about their juicy tacos for days now. Delicious!!
I came here because of the good reviews it has on google. I had tacos al pastor and bistec. I would rate them 8 from 1 to 10. The tortillas are not handmade. It's a small place with small parking space. They have beef tongue tacos, beef head, beef tripe among others. They do have a non cash adjustment fee of 3%. And they do not bring the food to your table.
Our favorite taco joint in DFW. We love everything we've had here. Everything is really well seasoned and cooked fresh to order. Our favorites are the lengua, al pastor, suadero, and tripa tacos on corn tortillas. Think about this place a lot and wish I lived closer.
We arrived around lunch time. Parking was full. There was a long line. Mostly customers were Hispanic. That’s when you know it’s authentic. There’s a 3% non cash adjustment fee. It would’ve been better if they had a sign or told us about the fee. We even had cash :/ But the cashier didn’t speak English very well..it was kind of difficult to order as well. The restaurant and the tables were a bit dirty. Regardless, 7 tacos we ordered were SOOOOOOO GOOOOD. I liked corn tortilla more than flour tortilla. I will def come back!!!!!!
I get Suadero Tacos/Quesadillas and they are THE BEST! I haven't found a Taco Spot in Dallas that can compete. I am a Regular!!! Be sure to get the GREEN SAUCE. And they are open until 11pm. Service is good. To me the food taste better at night with the men cooks. And most of he time (except close to closing) they fill the taco/quesadilla FULL with meat! 10/10 recommend.
Parking is near impossible, but it's almost worth getting your car towed over these tacos. Very good tacos. Nothing fancy, just great food and reasonable prices.
This place is a Dallas gem of a taco tour. Don’t let the line inside distract your mission here. Wait it out if it’s too the back wall it’s a 15 - 20 min to hit the window to order. From there the tacos are fast back out the other side. I felt there were about 10 people back there handling everything. Another secret is to call in your order and pick up and eat there. Tacos were out of this world. Don’t mind the decor but don’t be on a diet when you hit the parking lot.
The food is ALWAYS delicious!! They offer green and red salsa but the green salsa is my favorite because it's spicier. They don't offer rice and beans though and grilled onions are ordered separately. You better walk in knowing what you want to order if you're going during lunch time. They are always super busy at that time and don't have time for your indecisive self. Lol
I’m from out of town and heard that these were some of the best tacos and they were pretty good. The al pastor and bistec were great, and the suadero quesadilla is perfect. They had the best salsa roja I’ve ever had and the service was great!
🕳️ in the Wall spot, so you know it's dang good
First off - this place is by some bad road construction, so it makes it kind of annoying to get to. Was disappointed that it took so long to get there.
Next, when I went - there were a few people ahead of me waiting, and it looked under staffed. Took QUITE awhile to get food, but I don't blame the folks working there.
After all that - it was worth it. So delicious. So so so delicious. I usually have PHOTOS in my reviews but NOPE. Food was gone before I could exhale.
*I should also note, the cashier only spoke Spanish.
