Dropped in for a light lunch with business acquaintances. I ordered the Bleu Cheese Wedge salad and Tomato Basil soup. It was just what I was looking for. Attentive wait staff. I recommend this place for lunch.

This could be the best steakhouse in Dallas. We dined here on Thanksgiving and were treated very special. The wait staff were very attentive and helpful.
Several of us went with the filet with various sauces. The sides were fantastic. Mac and cheese with duck, broccolini and sautéed mushrooms. Great desserts.
Always a treat.
We came here last weekend with a party of eight kids and adults. The food was great. We had 5-6 appetizers and then sushi, pizza, steaks and fish specials. The flaming cotton candy was a fun touch for dessert.
We also enjoyed a great bottle of champagne.
Loved the decor too. Great service.

Beautiful Restaurant. We had drinks in the bar and decided to stay for dinner. What a treat, our server was attentive without being intrusive. Food was delicious. Our new favorite spot.

Outstanding Rehearsal Dinner. Due to an unexpected but necessary change of venue, my wife and I had less than a week to find a Dallas restaurant for a 55 person rehearsal dinner for our son Michael and his fiancee Rachel. Guests were arriving from several states. The pressure was on.
Executive chef Samir Dhurandhar and his staff were unbelievably helpful in putting together the menu and accommodations for this event. We had a dining room selected on Saturday, food tasting on Tuesday, and a finalized menu/agreement on Wednesday. We tested the video equipment Thursday. And the dinner was held on Friday.
Everything was perfect. The menu offered some great choices. The food and service were excellent. By far, the filet mignon was the most popular entree. Our guests were amazed. But more important, it was a great experience and a great memory for our newlyweds. The restaurant staff made this event easy during a hectic week.
We can't say enough about the attention given to us by Terri Russo, Brian Knoy, Jaime, Derrick, Andrew, Greg and many others on the restaurant staff (whose names I cannot provide). From the beginning of the process to very end it was an exceptional experience. Terri, the event coordinator, helped us with many decisions and kept everything on track. Brian, the restaurant manager, and Jaime coordinated the food and wine tasting. Brian also had a special wine offering for the newlyweds on Friday night. Derrick helped us with the media. Chef Andrew took care of us for the food tasting on Tuesday and dinner on Friday. Greg (who I assume was the lead server for this dinner) and his associates kept everyone happy. One more note: if I came by the restaurant to take care of some preparation during the day, it seemed as though every restaurant employee knew who I was by name and helped me with whatever needed. Again, everything was easy!
Chef Dhurandhar stopped during the dinner on Friday to say hello and to meet the newlyweds. I am sure he also wanted to make sure everything was to our liking.
I have been to many excellent restaurants in my life and I will say I have never been more pleased with the entire dining experience. If this review is read by any of the staff at Nick and Sam's Grill, I want to say thank you on behalf of myself, my wife, Rachel and Michael, and all of our guests. You are exceptional and you made this event very special for us.

Host Justin was very friendly and knowledgeable about both wine and entrees. Executive Chef Chris Klimenko came out and spoke with us before our first dish. Chris was attentive to our particular requests and modified a sushi roll to make it his own. It was fresh and every element complimented one another perfectly. Used as a pallet cleanser between bites, the pickled ginger was divine all by itself. Another dish was a twist on calamari with an asian influence combining pineapple, spices and fermented black bean. It was not overdone with batter and was mild but flavorful to the very last bite. The entree was quail stuffed with potatoes and mushroom. The seasoning was spectacular and the stuffing could not have been cooked better. Finally, we finished with a classic molten chocolate cake with mint ice cream and sliced strawberries. The berries were ripe and the portion was exact for the table. The ice cream was amazing and the dish was not overwhelming like you may find elsewhere. Overall this experience was one that I would not only recommend but insist you try if you are ever in the area.
Went recently to a special Wednesday night themed dinner. The food was delicious and the atmosphere fun. It was all served family style and wine was included! Had a great time with about 10 friends and met the lovely people sitting next to us as well. Everyone was friendly and enjoying themselves. Met a Dallas cowboy too :) The chef was entertaining as he led us through the menu for the evening. Will definitely be back for another one of these dinners.
From the space, there is a "luxurious" but still modern and very taste. NICK & SAM is suitable to entertain customers, have dinner with family and friends or even go on a romantic date in a luxurious space. Once you try steak here, you will understand why your NICK & SAM has been awarded the title of delicious steak restaurant by people. You will be able to choose all the ingredients from the type of meat, sauce and how to cook rare, medium rare, well done. The medium rare steak at NICK & SAM is always perfect, the meat is red, soft and succulent like it melts in the mouth. Aside from the premium steak, the sauces are just as good, NICK & SAM's also offers delicious steak dishes like potatoes and roasted vegetables.
My best friend took me here for my birthday and it was a great experience, great service, great drinks and great food. I had the ribeye with truffle butter and it was beyond perfect. Worth every penny. You can also tell they are serious about covid and doing the utmost to make sure that people were spaced apart.
This was the perfect spot for a birthday lunch today. Everyone enjoyed their entrees -- such generous portions most took food with us. Our service was superb. And the house brought out such a delightful surprise dessert -- cotton candy, ice cream on dry ice with sparklers, and brownies! Our party of 7 decided to return for all of our birthday luncheons.
Great food and excellent service. This location is the place to go to if you don't want the chaos of the uptown area. Parking is easy and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

Always a great time with above 5 star service from the Valet to your to go bag! My Fab of the Nick & Sams line and make every experience memorable. Usually we come for special occasions but tonight we did our first date out as a married couple and realized we can come for dinner any time. We tried the 30 oz dry aged Ribeye and was ver pleased. Wr will returning to try everything on the menu.
Dinner here was great and they have some specialty items that make this place a good experience. Cotton candy martini (I did not like it) and they also have a cotton candy dessert that everyone should try. It’s huge and has lights in it. Service was amazing and well worth the price.
Got a chance for a date night with the wife and we chose a place we've never been to before. It was a pleasant surprise.
The food was excellent. I had an old fashioned with their specially aged bourbon and it was one of the best I've had. The servers were very accommodating, even offering to move us to a more quiet area so the wife and I could converse. The portions were great. There was enough for leftovers, since we didn't expect the sides to be that large. It was pricey but we knew that coming in because we wanted a fancy night out.
Great lighting, atmosphere, and clean bathrooms. The only drawback for us is the low visibility from the road and the unclear parking areas. We're not much for valet and it was tricky to find a spot but we managed.
