We made reservations prior for brunch on our anniversary, requested a table on the patio and were not disappointed. Not only did they give us a table on the very busy patio, the manager came out to congratulate us personally on our anniversary and provided a complementary bottle of champagne. So incredibly unexpected and Thoughtful. The food was a fantastic, all around I would recommend this place to everyone.
Loved Hearing the Hightower Band last night! This is a hot spot of Dallas! The staff was on spot and the steak was to die for! Great environment for a casual dinner or out with friends, well done!

We have been waiting for this restaurant to open for what seems like ages, and I am happy to report that it was worth the wait. Right now it seems more like a locals spot, and I am hoping it stays that way. It was our first time and with so many choices, we couldn't decide where to sit - inside, outside, in the bar area... so many great choices!
Our waiter was very patient, and I am so glad that we decided on the bar area, and discovered their Friday Margarita and Mezcal bar. You get a shot of whichever is your choice, then you go and prepare your drink just how you like it. We grazed our way through the appetizer menu and loved everything that we tried, especially the cauliflower with green goddess. Be sure and ask for extra sauce - it was delicious!
The drinks were all fantastic, and we were so happy that so many of the staff stopped by and welcomed us. Sean at the bar was a wealth of knowledge, and I think this is going to be one of the best places to ring in the New Year in Dallas!
With Dry January right around the corner, I was especially pleased to see the alcohol removed cocktails that they offered - it is so nice to see a restaurant acknowledge that everyone doesn't want alcohol in their drinks, and to put as much thought and effort into these options as they do to the typical cocktails.
I'm looking forward to becoming a regular at the great new Oak Cliff destination!

I was walking my dog and noticed that this place finally opened! They’re super dog friendly with a gigantic patio. I went on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm so they had live music playing which was really enjoyable. I wasn’t sure what to expect since they just opened but to my surprise everything was super well done and organized. The hostess was super nice and friendly and the waiter was awesome! A bunch of the staff also came up to say hi and they were all really kind.
I got the calamari as an appetizer which was one of the best fried calamari I’ve ever had. Not only did it taste great, but it was also presented really well on a wooden board. I also got the High Rise sandwich which was equally as delicious. It’s a super tall sandwich though so it was a bit hard to eat, but I think that’s the whole point. Lastly I got the seasonal fruit for my dog which he really enjoyed. It was a mix of strawberries watermelon blueberries and raspberries. I heard that in the future they’ll have treats for dogs to order which will he great, but in the meantime I think the fruit is a super fun and healthy thing to get your pup if you bring them along.
I also got two drinks, but can’t quite remember the name of them. They were both very good and strong and also priced reasonably well. While most places nowadays are charging around 20 dollars per drink, here it was a range between 8-12 which I think is perfect and super reasonable.
Overall I give them a 10/10!!!
I absolutely love the new location. Atmosphere and vide is a 10. I was seated right away. I was in the mood for breakfast and to my luck the have brunch Sundays til 4. The prices where reasonable and not to mention stiff drinks 🍹 👌
This place is amazing, very dog friendly, tons of seating space and very affordable dishes and drinks.
We had the Henry’s Majestic Breakfast and the Chicken and Waffles. Both were delivered very promptly after ordering, lots of attentive staff and friendly faces.
This place has so much potential and I can't wait to see it thrive. It's gorgeous, cozy, neighborhoody, friendly and the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. This is definitely our new spot and I'm so happy to welcome them back and to the neighborhood. 🥂
This place is where Chicken Scratch used to be. The service was great. I had the hot chicken sandwich with veggies. I also had a bite of someone's chicken and waffles. Now that is something I will come back for.
The new location is 1000% better than the old Knox/ Henderson spot. I almost don't want to rave about it because I want it to remain a neighborhood gem. It's the uplift that was much needed in West Dallas. The music and vibe is on point. The food is way more flavorful than ever before. Today, I had the blueberry Belgium waffle with a side of jalapeño bacon...I'm pretty sure there's some good crack in it!
The live music added to the atmosphere, it wasn’t overwhelming. Food was fabulous, I wish it had vegan options though (I had the hummus which I enjoyed). My partner loved the duck wings and its sauce. Cute place for a date !!
I read through lots of reviews after booking my reservation, so.got hesitatant about going. But I'm so glad I did! We went for Sunday brunch and it was VERY nice! Sat on the patio, had the Sparkle bar mimosas. Lots of choices for juices and fruit to mix and fix your mimosa. We ordered the savory monkey bread as an appetizer and it was fresh and tasty. Had chicken and waffles for our entree and it was very good. Everything was seasoned well. Our server was attentive. The only thing for me is that they allow pets on the patio and it became quite a few at once. I'm a pet lover but prefer them not to share my dining space. However I will definitely return to try some other entree selections.
Finally made it out to the new place. It was fantastic! I had the Ruben sandwich with the Mac and cheese. It was always my favorite and I'm so glad it's just as good as it was!!! Next time I'll be getting the burger. So yummy!
