This is the type of BBQ spot you need to know about. You know this is going to be excellent BBQ the instant the door opens and the smell hits you. Very good food,great Sweet Tea(critical to good BBQ) and an atmosphere that shows its an authentic BBQ spot you will continue to return to time and time again.
I was in the area for a total of 4 dinners... I ate here twice. Wouldn't have minded eating there 2 more times either.
I’ve been working in Dallas for about a month now and decided to try out some local bbq places. Sonny Bryan’s is by far my favorite, the food is amazing. The workers are very courteous and friendly, they make you feel at home. The restaurant is like an old school smokehouse and very family feeling. I’m excited to go back and try different items from the menu.

So on my quest for the best BBQ in Dallas on a late night I found Sonny Bryan’s.
The staff here were very friendly for it to be 11pm at night!
Pricing was amazing because as we all know Texans are very proud of their BBQ!
Now this was not the best BBQ I’ve ever had but it was also almost midnight also! Those world famous onion rings were just okay!
The set up of this place was so cool! I feel like I might have enjoyed the food better if I had eaten inside the restaurant!
Would I go back sure! It’s a 24/7 BBQ spot! How often do you see that!
P.S I didn’t get my dinner rolls! Should have checked my bag before I left! 😂😂
Visited for our first time while we were at Children’s. We’re so glad we did because it did not disappoint. The customer service, the taste, the amount of food, quality, was all really wonderful. We’ll definitely pop in again when we’re in the area! *PS the peach cobbler was still warm when we made it back. It was absolutely delicious & my favorite:)
Great Barbecue. Good prices. Turkey is amazing. Onion Rings are pretty good as well. Barbecue Baked are decent
Very good barbecue. The baked beans were a little off, but the bbq was worth the trip.
This place is a little gem. The staff was friendly and the food was really good. I ordered the Big plate with brisket, pulled pork, and ribs as my meats. My sides were potato salad and baked beans. Overall a good experience while in the restaurant and eating at home. I would definitely recommend it for a good meal that was priced well.
What an amazing spot. Affordable, delicious, polite staff, divey atmosphere but I like it that way. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was amazing, juicy, spicy on perfect bread. Their BBQ sauce is even on a warm tray in the dining area. Can't wait to come back
The Brisket was fantastic but the rest of the items were just okay! The restaurant is in need of a renovation.
"I think it's the vibe." The truly outstanding barbeque wasn't even the best part. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick and friendly service. The generous portions sizes, did not disappoint and I could not ask for more when it came down to taste and flavor; and all of this at three o clock in the morning! I definitely recommend, maybe I'll see you there because I plan to come back whenever I'm in the area.
