Some friends and I ate here while in Dallas for a conference. The service was great, it had a great atmosphere, and the pizza was delicious. I went with the breakfast pizza, and it was awesome. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the crust was amazing. Also, as a side note, the water was also very good, surprisingly. All of the people I was with enjoyed their meals as well. I would definitely visit again if I ever end up back in Dallas near the convention center.
Had a quick business trip in Dallas and we found this place on Yelp. It was so good!! They had great cocktails. I had a drink that was like a Moscow mule but with a twist. We had the wagyu beef for an appetizer and it was so good we had two! I had the salmon and my co worker had the flat iron steak. Amazing and the whole layout was awesome. Go. Now!
Arrived right as the restaurant was opening so we had the place to ourselves for a bit and then it got busy. We ordered cappuccinos, a Bergamot Breakfast Cocktail, the Breakfast Pizza, Eggs Benedict Pizza, and the Nutella filled donuts!
The food was delicious! The Breakfast Pizza was our favorite as the flavors were bold and worked well as a group. The Eggs Benedict Pizza was delicious but the flavors were more subtle and softer. The cocktail was amazing and all the flavors were perfect!
Loved the food here... Was surprised and excited to find so many vegetarian options.. the staff was super sweet and were ready to customize the menu for us further to fit our vegetarian needs.
Was a lil disappointed not to get their signature mushroom and kale lasagna though - they said they removed it from their menu sometime back..
Light meal for two including desserts cost us $50..
Americano has to be one of the best eating places in Dallas. The food is very good with a delightful twist. It's very light and flavorful. The salads are unbelievable and the dressings outrageously tasty. All dressings are made in-house and the olives are cured in-house also. Unbelievably delicious. I'm not a fan of Italian food because of the heaviness and sauces. However, Americano has solved this problem. If you're in the Dallas area, make a definite place to visit.
Visiting Dallas during November and it was freezing. We were trying to find a brewery of some sort for some pre-dinner snacks and drinks and since it was so cold we essentially went into the first place we could find - Americano. Heavy Italian influence and not a lot of snack options so we ended up ordering entrees. They were fantastic and had some out of the box thinking/ingredients/presentations. Had a great time and highly recommend.
Love the location and decor! It's very hipster and is great to take photos. I ordered the green tea and it comes with delicious sugar cubes! The americano is also great. The apple crostata is delicious!! It came hot and burnt a little which is the way I like it, and the ice cream topped it off so well.
Restaurant was super cute and staff was lovely and accommodating. We sat at the bar and just had small plates. Favorites were the fried olives, meatballs and crudo.
I had heard mixed reviews from friends about Americano, but I'm happy to say my visit far exceeded expectations and I'm a huge fan! We started with the fried olives stuffed with sausage and the tallegio stuffed arancini - these are both excellent! Friend got the Caesar, which was good but nothing super special. For my main I got the Rigatoni with Calabrian Chili Sausage, and Broccoli Rabe Pistachio Pesto and it was amazing! I will be back just for this dish. We finished off with the blueberry tart, which was also delicious.
The chicken sausage pizza is my favorite. They have a nice outdoor dining, perfect for nice weather day. My waiter Christian was very nice and helpful. I had a really good time here.
