Wow! What a great night. We were
Celebrating a “mini-moon” this weekend and our waitress, Cash was so sweet and loved on us throughout the meal. We were treated with chocolate covered strawberries and a rose as a congratulations on being married. The hostess was also so nice and thoughtful. Besides being showered with great customer service, the food was A-mazing. We came to order off the menu but the buffet called our name. Will recommend to anyone coming to Dallas.
We went there for a birthday breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious. The waiting staff was attentive, professional and very friendly. Overall I recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. And they they cover your parking, you can't asked for anymore. You must go.
What wonderful service and atmosphere! The chicken fried steak was perfection. Our server, Christian, and Julien made our night so special. Highly recommend and will be back!
We were a little tired from a very busy convention and not sure what we wanted for dinner. The hostess was patient and invited us in to take a look at the buffet. It looked great so we were seated. I had the banquette side and pulled the table closer for comfort. Our attentive waiter, Eric S., came over right away to make sure there was nothing wrong with the table. He thought maybe it was rocking or off balance, I was impressed by such consideration. He continued to provide excellent service, we did not have to look for anything. Coffee was refilled and table was always cleared promptly. Food was good and we had a terrific dining experience. Regina Burke -NJ
Very good fresh food. We started with the deviled eggs which featured 3 types; classic, pork belly, and crabmeat with tabasco. They were delicious. Then, I had the shrimp and grits which have some nice crispy chorizo and asparagus. My husband had the chop salad with chicken and ham. We enjoyed everything. Some of the desserts sounded amazing but we stuck to our diets. We recommend Texas Spice.
This is our favorite breakfast place in downtown. The buffet never disappoints with fresh fruit, bread pudding, southern style eggs and potatoes. The guy working the omelette station is one of my husband's favorite persons on the planet. "He has great energy and makes you feel great about your choices." The lighting is gorgeous with custom wood pieces. Love it here.
I love a staycation. L-O-V-E. I recently staycayed at The Omni Dallas Hotel. Check out the hotel review here. For breakfast I went downstairs to Texas Spice. The decor is really refreshing. I would call it repurposed Texana. Upscale rustic. I felt very welcomed and comfy. There is a great patio with plenty of seating and this glorious private dining area. Impressive!
We stopped here for lunch while in town for the Final Four. We enjoyed our lunch and I would certainly return. The restaurant is very pretty and has a cool atmosphere. I had the Texas Burger plus egg and my husband ordered the chicken fried steak. Both were tasty. They have a nice bar menu and we enjoyed our cocktails as well. I love a place where you can order cookies and milk for dessert! Our service was great. I love an Omni Hotel because service is always top notch.
We were staying at the Omni and decided to eat dinner at the hotel rather than venture out. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they were offering a fajita buffet for $19/person. The buffet had nicely seasoned unbattered fish, sliced season chicken breasts, and beef fajita strips. Plus all the fixin's you would expect to have for making fajita tacos. For kids, they had breaded chicken fingers on the buffet. There also were pinto beans and a corn/cabbage casserole. Salad and dessert bars were included. Nice price for dinner in a superb hotel. I must also mention that the restaurant staff were all helpful and pleasant.
I really enjoyed the food. Everything was seasoned and just right. The price was very reasonable and included the buffet, drink and dessert. I left feeling really satisfied. I will definitely come back to this restaurant on my next visit to Dallas.
I work nearby at night. The reviews looked good and it had two $$ indicating under $20 for an entree. I was handed a dinner menu and saw the prices were higher than I would normally pay for my "lunch" but having read the review about about the burger which was only $13 compared to $25-$35 fot the other entrees I decided to go with it. Other items looked great but i didnt want to spend that for my lunch. The burger was a bit underdone and salty. I was hungry so i ate it anyway. The manager asked me what I thought and I told him. He apologized and offered to remove the charge. I had already eaten over half so I declined. He offered to give me something else. Anything to make it right. Although I declined his offers I was completely impressed with his commitment to service. I do want to go back and try some of the other items. To me quality service is as important as the food.

Great place. I went on a Friday late afternoon. I sat at the bar and had some coffee and an appetizer (to hold me over until a later dinner). Coffee was great (but they only had half-and-half) and the deviled eggs which come in three types: classic, pickled egg white with horseradish and pork belly filling, and tabasco and gulf crab filling...were also pretty good. It was really nice to have some bartenders with personality, though! Napoleon and Junior really helped make my evening.
Went for the $26 all you can eat brunch on sunday.
Everyone is SO SO friendly and welcoming. From the people that greeted me, to my server, to the man who dropped off my pancakes. Service is quick.
The food was very good. I thought there would be a bigger selection but there was still a good amount to choose from. The price is fair for the quality and level of service.
I definitely will come again!
Veronica..? (I know I’m spelling it wrong/different name but for the life of me I cannot remember) — the older black woman and Jason were SO great and welcoming. Everyone was great but these two stood out for me!
I'm here this week for the IAEE expo. I came in to grab an early bite for dinner and avoid the crowds so I could get back to work. I sat at the bar and was served by Jonathan who was incredibly engaged with me and really had great suggestions. Although I did not have an alcoholic beverage, he was very happy to have me and he was very personal. His suggestions were great, including dessert and I'm so glad I got to be served by him. He is one of those individuals that loves what he does and his work and it shows. Thanks for a great dining experience. The salmon was spectacular and so was the Caesar salad.
John the bartender was absolutely amazing! He crafted an amazing cocktail for my friend's birthday and he has amazing cocktail. And not to mention his charisma. He made the night even more special for us! Destynee was our server and she had great charisma
Excellent, delightful food and wonderful service. We opted for BLT Benedict and Salmon Bagel from the a-la carte menu instead of the buffet, but the buffet selection was very appealing and looked very tasty.
The decor is definitely Omni and makes you feel at home.
Come hungry or be ready to share. And if you're feeling fancy, they've got a nice selection of cocktails that'll have you sipping and savoring.
Customer service is a big deal to me when I am at a hotel away from home. Yaneth was my bartender and she was absolutely fantastic. She was wonderful at explaining the plates on the menu and she didn’t try to oversell. My avocado toast was super loaded, fresh and delish. Also she went out of her way to make my drink super special and perfect. She is definitely an asset to the restaurant however even the food and atmosphere were on point. It was clean, great timing fiery food delivery, you could see management backing her up, and the prices were efficient with portion size. I am quite pleased with this location and highly recommend it if your close by.
Had the breakfast burrito and it was tasty. Nice atmosphere with a trendy/rustic feel. Very impressed with our waiter. Didn't get his name but service was top notch. Reasonably priced breakfast felt like a good value for what you got. Wasn't terribly busy but we were in a bit of a hurry and got in and out quickly.
This has been my spot for special breakfast meetings and gatherings nearly since they opened. The staff is always friendly, helpful, & active. I absolutely love the air and have taken a lot of snaps throughout the times- another reason it’s perfect for special breakfasts. My favorite seating are the enclosed round cells. There’s also a room as soon as you enter that’s perfect for small gathering , I LOVE the breakfast buffet. The food is seasoned well and delicious. You wo n’t be disappointed! Try the Juicy veal Tomahawk beef steak caricature with crisp onion marmalade boletus sauce and grilled vegetables marinated in Provence sauces, roasted spice blend, glass of red wine with table tools from Texas Spice
Phenomenal breakfast buffet on Saturday morning. Something for everyone and the food was perfection. Excellent customer service— something that has been lacking in many places since the pandemic. Steel cut oats. Waffle and omelet station, cold cereals, hot foods. Literally SOMETHING for everyone. I have been so disappointed in the quality of food since 2020 but this was a pleasant surprises. Great job Omni for keeping it classy! If you are in the area, please put this on your list. $24 all you can eat buffet. CANNOT BEAT IT!
Breakfast before a convention … hotel lobby restaurants aren’t normally much to write home about. But Texas Spice nailed it! Their menu has something for everyone. I ordered the bacon and egg tacos. They were excellent!! In fact, I’m here now on day two to eat them again. Fast and friendly service (Eunice was great!) tops off the experience. From the greeting at the host stand by Ty to the manager of the restaurant, I felt welcomed. Make sure to leave enough time though as there might be a wait during busy times.
