Incredible!! My wife and I went for their 15 year anniversary party and had a perfect evening! The staff couldn't have been nicer and more friendly. We got champagne and split a cheese board. Everything was so tasty and we even got a free grilled cheese sample! We will absolutely be back!
Went in super last minute on a Saturday and the guys here took care of me and sent me off with a awesome board. It was the hit of the weekend!
Great small business with excellent staff. Love visiting this shop when I'm in the downtown area. Excellent cheese selection. Luxe gourmet chocolates, specialty crackers, olives, nuts, boutique wine selection also available. Don't know what to pick? Ask the friendly staff, they make great recommendations! Best discovery we made right after they open. My husband started a tradition shortly thereafter. He goes to Scardello on Christmas Eve and chooses 4-5 cheeses and gets a bottle of wine. That’s our Christmas dinner.
One Christmas he bought a soft cheese with a line of truffles in it. My very first encounter with truffles and it was instant love. One Christmas present this year for my husband was the Truffle Video Cheese talk with samples. It’s worth every dollar. The white wine went well with every cheese.
Years ago we took a cheese tour out by Ft. Worth and met a bunch of goats and cows. Tim Love’s Lonesome Dove restaurant was our wonderful meal that day.
One of the best gems of dallas, hands down! The staff is friendly, helpful, and the selection always has something new and interesting. Their classes also make for a great date night activity and their walk-in tastings make for the perfect snack. 10/10!
A new favorite we discovered back in January. We did a cheese and wine pairing then and had a lot of fun and we've gone with some new cheeses. This time we signed up for a virtual cheese and honey tasting. We picked up our tray that afternoon and joined the event from our hotel room. We were not disappointed. The event was fun and informative. The presenters were very knowledgeable and their pairings were delicious! We plan to do more tastings with friends, virtual or otherwise. Thank you, Scardello's, for another great tasting!

Love this place. It's always chill vs. Eatzi's which gets hectic. The staff here are super knowledgeable and they have the best curated mix of cheese and meats perfect for a party or spoiling yourself at home with delectable cheeses. Choosing your cheese is almost as fun as consuming it later
I have been to Scardello's twice with much time between visits, and it has been a consistent winner.
Last time I went, I was there for lunch and had a cheese plate with Comté, a blue cheese, and a lovely triple cream. That was served with a generous helping of Marcona almonds, dried apricots, dried figs, dried cherries and slices of baguette. I also had a sandwich there that was prosciutto, fig jam and buratta that was also excellent.
The store has a wide selection of cheese and the staff is very knowledgeable about them. In addition, the store also sells a number of artisanal chocolates, honeys, mustards, olive oils, pickles (peaches, grapes, and watermlon when I was there) and has a small selection of wine and other specialty beverages. There is parking out front and in back, and I have not had issues there either.
We are so lucky to have a cheese shop like Scardello nearby. Staff is knowledgeable and always friendly. They inquire about ones "cheese tastes" and then make suggestions coupled with samples. If you love cheese and value quality and gracious service, this is the place for you.
Stopped by today and Alex was amazing! He was patient, friendly and accommodating. He recommend a few cheeses for us to try and he really made the experience better! Came to Dallas for our 2 year anniversary and he also recommended places to see in the city. Really happy he helped us out!
