I was intrigued by the scenery and got curious to visit for lunch. We tried the Philly cheesesteak and nacho cheese with steak. As we ate, we scoured the venue taking in the abstract scene compare of bits of glamour, sport-bar and hoedown- it was all fascinating to admire as we ate and chattered away. Best times to go is spring and fall as summer is too hot to enjoy and appreciate the outdoor scenery. I’d recommend for its uniqueness with friends in town for sure or just to try something different.
It was a nice chill place to go to. Its only 21 and over after 9 so if you have younger siblings or kids they are welcome b4 9. I went because it's dog friendly. They are mainly an outside bar and they have fans to keep you cooled but in some spots you have to stand to feel the air. They also had a watermelon eating contest and drinks served in a watermelon shell!! It was $40+ for that drink but it's big enough to share but not as strong as I hoped it was also very tart. They have did trucks but I didn't eat. My dogs enjoyed being outside and the people there showed them love which was all that mattered to me. Make sure you bring your own poop bags.
We follow the Daytripper, and he recently came and recommended this place. It was awesome! A hole in a wall that you'd almost miss. There are plenty of food trucks and seating throught. The Truck Yard has one of the coolest restrooms I've seen. They're pet and kid friendly. The Philly cheesesteak is amazing, and I HIGHLY recommend giving it a shot. I didn't get a chance to check out the other trucks, but I heard great things about those. They have lots of beers on tap and plenty of specialty drinks. It was so hard to choose!
Shout out to Kiera, our fantastic bartender. Even though it was our first time here, Kiera made us feel like a couple of regulars. The staff all around were attentive and courteous. Anytime I make my way up here, I will make an effort to stop by for happy hour.
Just a great place to hang out with friends, drink some beer, and eat some good food. Almost all of the seating now is shaded with fans and misters throughout. They have their own food which is excellent or they have a few food trucks that rotate to choose from. Good selection of cocktails but if you like craft beer make sure to try their in house choices. The Hefe is outstanding. The menu can be accessed via a qr code and they bring everything right to you. All in all a great experience!
We were glad to have found this place. From the outside, it didn't appear to be much more than maybe a food stand, but once we entered, we were taken back by the great atmosphere. They have different food options, our brisket nachos were good, my margarita was great! They have swings, foldable beach chairs around a fire pit, they have booths, tables, bar seating, covered patio, indoor and outdoor seating ... something for everyone!!! This reminded us alot of Austin, TX spots that likewise have a backyard feel and pet friendly. The music on Saturday night was a good mix. The crowd is also a good mix. We will remember to visit again.
I love the backyard concept. Casual seating, food trucks, firepits, and music. The only thing that could be improved are the flies. They should checkout those electric tennis racket fly zappers for $20 and upon return you get your $20 back. People can make a drinking game out of it.
This place was so much fun. I really loved the concept of an open air food yard and hope we could get something like this in my hometown. Food was hit or miss, but overall good and the vibe was awesome. Family friendly
Great Vibes @ The Truck Yard Dallas. We wanted to take the fur babies somewhere to eat & chill in a relaxed atmosphere & the Truck Yard was perfect. Granted it was a Sat night so it was crowded but that's to b expected on wknd. It was a nice, fun relaxed atmosphere, live music, good service, good food (we had Dallas grilled cheese Co. & it was great) although I would've given 5☆ if there were more food truck choices. All in all we had a good time & the pups did too.

One of my favorite places I've been! Atmosphere was incredible, the philly was amazing, and it's in a great location! I'll definitely return when I visit Dallas again.
