Dipper Dan

We were on vacation and had been hiking so we just wanted to get something quick. Dipper Dan's was close by so we popped in. You can tell it's definitely a little locals joint and the people were all so nice. I felt like I was at home in our little town. Our food was out in 6 minutes and they brought it right to our table. The food was good and the prices were better.

Finally got to visit Dipper Dan. What a wonderful experience. Takes me back to the little community diners that were so prevalent when I was kid. These folks make you feel welcome and appreciated as a patron. Mama's burger and fries were delicious and my chili-slaw dog with onion rings were perfect. The toasted split top bun ranks this dog right up there with the best West Virginia style hot dogs. (You either know or you don't, trust me) The rings beat Varsity any day. And the prices? I doubt they've raised prices since the 1980's

Would give 0 stars, if possible; came here for a quick bite to eat on lunch break and waited 45min for 2 hot dogs and some fries. Buns were stale, and no salt or pepper on freezer burnt crinkle cut fries. Worst part, these people don't seem to know what gloves are, or what cross contamination is. Avoid at all costs if you value your health, someone is destined to get sick from eating here.
