American Pizza Oven

First time vist, the food was good. We had the lunch special a 6" Philly cheese steak and a meatball sub. They came with drinks and a side for less than $20! It's down town so at lunch time parking can be a issue. Service was friendly. We'll go back. Update came back next day and had fried mushrooms, deep fried pizza slice and 2 slices pepperoni pizza.

Really want to give more stars but this place is very inconsistent. Of the times we’ve ordered, it’s been a 50/50 split on if the order comes out good. We never know what to expect and it seems like the busier the night is, the more likely you are to get a bad product. Tonight was the second time we’ve gotten garlic knots that are tiny, inconsistent and definitely not worth what we paid (picture shown of the FULL order of garlic knots). Overcooked crust, haphazardly cut slices of varying sizes and a struggle to find a close parking space just to pick up an order has become the common occurrence if we ever try to order on a weekend. Would love for there to be some consistency and quality checks before handing off the orders to the customers and maybe a marked parking spot for pick up…

Finally, a pizza with SAUCE! Love the little "kick" to the fried mushrooms too. Had the 2 slice lunch special while my husband ate a small pizza. I think I got the better deal. HUGE slices for the special. Picture with my hand over a slice for size comparison. I could eat only 1 of the slices. The second slice almost filled a small pie box! Will definitely be return customers 🥰

Awesome pizza and very friendly staff. They are so good that you sometimes have to wait awhile for your order. Also love that they have the punch cards for a free pizza after 10. We have been there many times and will definitely go again. Also appreciate that they keep you updated on their Facebook page about closures.

I was placing my order today and I realized I haven't ever rated American pizza oven before. I have been going here for about 6 months as often as possible. They have the best wings in this area by far. Any food I've ever gotten from here has been amazing. And I love the friendly local family-owned restaurant feel of this place. Everybody is always so nice anytime you come. This is definitely one of my go-to places. A definite must try restaurant
