I was really lucky to have found this delicious food! I was near the highway, was starving, and had a giant appetite for Thai food!! So, I looked into Google Maps for Thai restaurants near me, and Nara Thai came up; I consider myself as a very picky person, so I naturally read some reviews and watched some pictures of the place. When I got to the place it didn’t seem so nice from the outside and the businesses around it either, but when I got on the inside, the place was really nice and cozy. Their menu had a lot of different dishes, but I knew exactly what I was looking forward eating! So, I wanted to eat some curry with chicken, but they had 5 different kind of curries, which I had never tried before, as far as I knew there only existed a yellow one (lol), so the waiter was very nice and recommended me one, the RED curry, and as I’m a spring roll lover, of course I had to order some too!! I was impressed by the time the spring rolls came my way, as I’m used to other Thai restaurants which only bring 2 pieces, I got 4 and some side salad! There is no need to say they tasted delicious and the peanut sauce was delicious too!!!! And when my red curry came, I had a fantastic and tasteful experience, it had bamboos inside, and a good portion of chicken. At the time of paying, I would have thought it would be very expensive, but it actually was cheaper than other places. I paid for the spring rolls $6 and $11 for the curry which was obviously worth the price! I would love to come back and try some other plates in the future!

Nara Thai is probably one of the best Thai restaurants in this area. This is our 5th visit, but we ordered many times for delivery. You are likely get bigger portions if you dine-in. The food is awesome. Today we tried Papaya salad, Crab fried rice, Tomyam soup and Padthai noodles. Kids just loved it. Portion was big we can't finish. It also provides Halal chicken and beef, but you should ask the person before ordering. We will surely visit here again.

I like how you pay attention to the interior details. The lights are even better. You have even ubiquity wifi on the ceiling, which is probably only meant for your pay terminals, but hopefully you can open network for the guests as well. Food tastes great, portions are big. The only thing I'm getting frustrated lately in Houston, - that almost every Asian restaurant is using foam boxes. I understand that they are cheap. But it is our health as well. 24 cents for container vs 8 cents comparing to the $30-40 check.

My family really liked this place when it was previously called Ano Thai. Even under new management, my kids love their fried rice. But I can't help feeling that their serving sizes have gone slightly smaller whilst the prices have gone up, and they seem to be adding in less protein (eg meat) when you add, say chicken to your fried rice or pad thai. But within the Cypress area, it is still a good Thai restaurant worth a visit.

Nara Thai is one of the greatest experiences I have had in the restaurant aspect. They have everything from decoration to amazing customer service, and their food is just amazing. It is made to fit any customers palate and necessities, may that be that they are vegetarian or they can't handle spice. Nara Thai has all the options for any customer, and their twist on decoration and table covers just puts them over the top. It is a great place for all ages, but I believe that kids would enjoy it the most due to their creativity.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and was blown away by how delicious the food is! I had the salma sushi and the quality was incredible. The pad thai was also just perfect.

My family and I really like their food and it is one of the few Thai places in Cypress. However we have given them the benefit of the doubt and eaten here 3 times between in person and order online. They consistently have taken a very long time to get food out. When we have dined in person there haven't been many people so we couldn't understand why it was so slow. When I ordered online and received the message that the food was ready to be picked up after a given 30 min wait. I arrived and was told the food was not ready contrary to the message and that it would be an additional 30 minute wait. An hour wait for takeout for a family of 4 is ridiculous.
