Slurping Noodles

This is great place with awesome staff. The store was supposed to close by 10pm and we reached there at 9:45 pm. They not only took our order but also patiently waited for us to finish the food. The food was delicious . We ordered chicken curry ramen, shrimp lo mein, tofu ramen and pork ramen. We really like the flavors. Perfect food to end the cold day.

We visit this place quite often. It’s changed since the beginning they’ve added ALOT more items to their menu. They have various Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes as well as the Japanese and ramen. The food is always good and service is usual decent. Not the best but also not the worse. Our last visit though the service was horrible. The usual older Asian lady I suppose was preoccupied because she didn’t get our water at first and apologized about not getting a refill and tried to take the cup out of my hand when I was literally already up and filling it. Maybe it was because we visited an hour before closing idk. Had to get up for the check and everything. Won’t visit in the evening again

My husband and I ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The staff was really nice and helpful and the food was pretty good. I wasn't super happy with my food but not because it wasn't prepared well. I just think I'll order something different next time we go that more my taste. Overall we liked it a lot!

Was at the Outlets and clicked on "Ramen" in Google maps, and this was the first place that popped up and with good reason. Greeted right when we walked in. Menu was great, no too many or too little options, but with good diversity. We started with Homemade Gyoza which hot and delicious. My wife had Tonkotsu Black ramen, very well put together. The pork in it was good but in my opinion could take a little more flavor. I had the Volcano Maze-men, and with only noodles, pork, cucumbers, carrots scallions and red pepper paste, it was amazing!! It is a "dry noodle" dish, meaning no broth for those that don't know. It's great for those that don't want that hot broth during not cold times. All in all, this place is absolutely worth the visit.

As simple as this picture is, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. This is only an example of one of the many plates they have under their lunch menu specials. For under $8, you can get sweet and sour chicken, fried rice/white rice, egg roll/spring roll, and a choice of soup. What PLACE DOES THIS?! 😍 Service is great! The staff were courteous, attentive and efficient! So if you’re in the mood for some great ramen (highly suggested from my friend who is super picky) or Chinese food, then you need to GO HERE!

**Updated 9.5.2018 - Since the original review, I have stopped in several more times. It would seem the quality and taste have slipped a little. The ramen broth now tastes like dirty water from the tap. Not sure why this took a sudden change for the worse, but it's definitely noticeable and a good reason to seek somewhere else. Original Review - Stopped in for the first time since the opening last Wednesday. Happy to see fresh made Ramen offered locally! At first glance, the place is very cozy. Warm music, decent lighting, stool seating accomodations for about 60 people ( with a few bench seats) and a clean kitchen. Staff seated us immediately and was very friendly. Now the food.... The ramen is made fresh every day, with a new state-of-the-art noodle making machine. I ordered the "Tonkotsu Black", which had: silky pork broth, pork char shui, menma, black mushroom, scallions, dried seaweed, marinated egg, and black garlic oil. Overall presentation was a little above expected. Taste was very flavorful, and the freshness of the noodles definitely was noticable. Since it was a little on the normal side, I added a small side serving of spicy miso sauce. This was the taste I was looking for! Definitely getting the "Spicy Miso" next time. Only negative things noticed are minimal and an easy fix. Like the separation between the kitchen and back storage area is only divided by a small curtain, leaving most of the storage area visible and looking disheveled. And the entrance to the restroom is partially blocked by a dirty dish cart storage area. Things likely still settling in and fine tuning. Would I recommend it or return? Sure. It fits a much needed niche in the Cypress area. Is it the best? No. Is it the best in Cypress? No.
