We absolutely love this place! We moved to Cypress 4 yrs ago & always went to our neighborhood Mexican restaurant for Rita’s every Friday for 30+yrs. we found Taco de Oro, fell in love with the family who owns it! We strongly support family-owned businesses! This place is wonderful, just like the entire family❣️

Great service, the staff is sooo friendly, the place is small and very clean the food was better that I thought, we asked for enchiladas de mole verde it was so good same as the Torta cubana and caldo de borrego, we are definitely gonna come back
We ordered some Birria tacos and they were very tasty. The meat was juicy and flavorful.
We also got some Street tacos with Chicken. The meat was a little dry but I liked it.
The Piña Colada tasted amazing. I loved it.
The restaurant was very colourful and nicely decorated.
It was an excellent service.

Everything we had was delicious. Carnitas, Birria And Pollo Empanizado were all perfect. The biggest plus, corn and flour tortillas are homemade. Happy with the service as well.

This place is AMAZING!! I'm upset I didn't know about it sooner. Everything is made FRESH when you order it! Everything is HOMEMADE! So, their food is delicious. Especially their homemade tortillas! I had to hold in my emotions while eating because it was just that good!
I also had some horchata and that is homemade as well. Man! It was so smooth and full of flavor. I had to force myself to take my time to eat and drink because I didn't want it to be over. And their homemade fresh salsa!! I got the mild salsa and it complemented by breakfast tacos perfectly!
Last but not least, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was at a family member's house. We talked like we've known each other for a long time and we just met today. It was such a great experience all around.
IF you are in a hurry and want their food, CALL AHEAD. Their food is made FRESH when you order it!! It is worth every penny! If you ain't got time to chill for a moment, look at their online menu and just call it in. You won't be disappointed coming here!

We came here for breakfast and wanted something different. We ordered the supreme omelette, the pancakes, chilaquiles and a potato egg taco. While the presentation and looks can improve a lot, the taste is superiorly authentic and homemade. So if you are looking for a traditional Mexican breakfast this place is worth to try it!
10/10!!!! The street tacos were absolutely delicious!! The homemade tacos were just as delicious!! My daughter said they were the best tacos she’s ever had! The staff was extremely friendly. Everything about this place was great! We’ll definitely be back!!
