Whataburger

I visited this location yesterday. I placed my orders pretty quick. I waited in line for almost 10 minutes. My chocolate shake was very good, the fries were hot and fresh.My mother's patti melt was on point. This is all good but why in the world was my burger cold. How do you prepare a cheeseburger -- usually this comes with a hot piece of meat, add cheese so that the cheese can melt, and when you ask for a toasted bun, please don't burn the burn. Well any ways just wanted to put this info out here. Oh and I paid over 9$ for this. Things are not the same in the US.

This place is HORRID! I ordered 4 meals, 3 burgers and chicken strips. The burger meals get their fries, but they were short changed, they must like to be stingy with their fries. Then the chicken meals fries got forgotten completely! Then on top of that, in my unopened, undipped gravy, THERE WERE CRUMBS AND SOME BROWN SUBSTANCE! I know burnt gravy when I see it, and that for sure isn't burnt gravy! This makes me sick to my stomach to think what else looks like that in the back 🤢. If you value your body and what you ingest, I suggest you stay as far away from this whataburger as you possibly can!

We were in a hurry and on our way out of Academy we decided to to get a quick bite. It took 40 minutes to get our order!! I felt sorry I for the lead guy/supervisor. He was doing his best to compensate for the terrible service, inexperienced staff, and tasteless food. Ordered a burger with lettuce, onion and mayo only, and small fries. It was smaller than small and the burger was dry, thin and tasteless. The fish dinner was inedible and awful! The chocolate shake didn’t look like chocolate, nor did it taste like chocolate. They brought a second one but it didn’t taste or look like chocolate either. All trash bins were so full we couldn’t fit all of our stuff without touching other peoples garbage. This location is family owned, and based upon all the previous bad reviews going back several months or more, it’s obvious to me that it couldn’t matter less to them.

Decent fast food joint with burgers all day. Good breakfast selection. The tots were good and shaped kind of like a steak fry. Great for dipping. They have diet Dr pepper on the drink machine which made my fiance happy. The spicy ketchup wasn't very spicy which was kind of disappointing but didnt ruin my day or anything. The biscuits were great!
