Even though I wasn't at this location and dine at the location in North shore where it doesn't show up on Zomato. The service was great❗️That's one thing I'm big on and the food was good too even though I ate most of it before I remember to take a picture. It's one Japanese grill and sushi house you should try.

100 times better than Benihana's as well as less expensive. Our meal was outstanding especially our New Years Eve shashimi and sushi. Will definitely come again and bring friends and family.

Average but ok. Food is good. Service is just fine. Shaggy Dog is by far the best. They just stink like mildew. Every time I go the place is filthy. I will go back but I will never expect it to be clean.
I can't say anything bad here...but I will say that better food at a better price point exists at Toro on 6/290.
This is THE place for sushi. Stop in at lunchtime and try one of their bento boxes. The unaju is delicious! For beautiful and tasty sushi / sashimi Shogun can't be beat.
Awesome. I work downtown and I am very comfortable in saying that I am exposed to very good resturants working DT. I hav eating Sushi at many places DT and still ShoGun is the best. I love it. Its can get very busy at times but you would or shouldn't you expect that if the food is amazing, right????

Hurray, decent sushi in Cypress.... I'm glad we have Shogun. For the longest time, you had to get sushi or sashimi at the grocery store. Shogun's food is good, the service is usually good as well, and the atmosphere is trendy, but casual. Try the plum wine...yummy!
Great service and the peach tea was great. The food omg good. It was date night for us and couldn't have picked a better place. There was a bit of a wait but great service.
Got two rolls for lunch and of course they were perfect. And only $17 and some change! Service was outstanding. My glass was never empty.
Great service and great food! They have a variety of sushi dishes. The food was great, the atmosphere seems authentic. There was this issue that I got one less sushi roll in my plate and the manager noticed this and asked what he could do to make it right and then suggested to give me an extra salmon roll. This attention to detail is what makes a good restaurant because it shows that the people that work there care about the way the restaurant presents itself. This small gesture of hospitality shows me the kind of restaurant this is and I definitely recommend and will come back!
Hey guys, I'm really not a fan of hibachi. I've been to a few, some good some not so good. I just don't like the wait to get your food during the show. I just want to eat as soon as can. Regardless this place was nice and clean. Really don't wait to long for a table and get drinks. Really quick. The cook arrived and said hello and got started. Very friendly, funny, and presentable. He had us well involved and cooked everything pretty quick. Food was good, just a bit salty. We were all happy and satisfied. I will definitely come back, but next time I will just sit at the bar. So please come by if you like hibachi and sushi. Prices are reasonable.
They have more than ten locked restaurants. Nearly all of them can provide high quality sushi and teppamyaki. The staffs are so professional and enthusiastic. My friends and me come here every month.
