Good ambience. Cordial service. Great food. Hard to find in Asian restaurants.
Tom yum soup was perfect. Those who prefer it on the spicy side, ask for it.
That fried rice was perfect for my 4 year old. He relished it.
Glass noodles were good and we didn't have to push our daughter to eat it. She thoroughly enjoyed it.
Pad Thai we asked spicy and level 3. For normal spicy level stick to 1.
Quantities were more than enough. Good value for the money.
The egg rolls could've been less oily. Would've helped savor the taste more.
The sticky rice with mango was ok. Needs slightly lesser quantity of sticky rice, more coconut milk and more ripe mangoes.
Highly recommend Bangkok Bistro. Having spent a bit of time in Thailand I’m always looking for true authentic taste. This green curry (spicy! They aren’t messing around) and Tom Yum were incredible. So was everything else we ordered! Reasonable prices as well: 2 entrees, 3 apps, 2 beers = $50 before tip.
Service was also great, the staff very friendly, able to make recommendations and several tables of regulars saying bye to the owner as they left.
5/5 ⭐️
A little gem hidden in a big shopping strip. The food is authentic and fabulous. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. They don't have the biggest menu, but just about everything in it is great. Be careful with the spicy levels. I can eat hot, but they start off with a mild that most people won't be able to handle. Even their basil fried rice is spicy, even though it doesn't have the hot pepper indicator on the menu Try all their noodle dishes, you won't be disappointed.
The food and service is excellent here. I highly recommend the panyang curry with chicken. The Sweet Basil with beef is also excellent. They have really good lunch specials. Best Asian and Thia food in the Cypress area.
Just ate here for lunch, and i can honestly say this was one of the most flavorful meals I’ve ever had. I ordered the Thai curry noodles. It’s more like a soup, with lots of coconut broth, and you get your choice of protein, red, green, or yellow curry, and spice level 1-5. I went with shrimp, yellow curry, at a #3 spice level. The broth was incredibly rich, and had plenty of spice for a lunchtime meal! Lots of shrimp and a large portion for $12.95. I will be back for more!
This was awesome! The food had so much flavor and the staff were extremely nice and attentive. I had the Fish Cakes and the Papaya salad, the two dishes that help me judge a Thai restaurant. They were top notch and didn't disappoint in flavor. The fish cakes were slightly crispy with a soft, fluffy texture inside, with basil being the dominant herb while not being overpowering. They came with a Green Chili sauce that had just enough of a kick to give it flavor but then evaporated with the taste of lime, vinegar and sugar. The Papaya salad was everything it should be with plenty of peanuts, cherry tomatoes, green beans and of course, green Papaya. The lime dressing that everything was macerated in was so good I could have drunk it but instead doused it over the bowl of rice that my mom had with her Shrimp Laab. It was heaven in a bowl. As stated, my mom had Shrimp Laab and my dad had Pad Thai. Both were better than I thought either dish could be.
I highly recommend this restaurant and hope it thrives.
Good Thai food. I had the shrimp pad Thai and the wife had red curry chicken. Wait staff were attentive and food came out in a timely manner. Will return.
