B-k Rootbeer Drive In

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and it didn't disappoint! We ordered a double cheeseburger, jumbo slaw dog, cheese sticks, sweet potato fries and 2 rootbeers. Everything was really good, and came out fresh & hot. You might wait a bit longer than other car hop type places but it's worth it. The dog was cooked on the grill which put it over the top. Burger was juicy and a mouthful. Sweet potato fries & cheese sticks were cooked perfect also, we just had no complaints. Rootbeer was super cold in the glass mugs which we always look forward to. Staff was nice, came back and checked to see if we needed anything and if food was good. Great spot to take you back in time to the old style rootbeer stands!

We were very excited to try this little spot. Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience and will not be returning. Everything was overly fried where the breading would crumble off after a bite. The root beer float wasn't even cold. The ice cream was soft serve and very sweet to be put in a root beer float. This was one of the few times where we barely touched the food that we ordered. I wish this little business success and hope it does well. Just wasn't for me, to each their own.

This is my newest Akron obsession. The root beer floats are FIRE 🔥 so much better than A&W, and I was a huge a&w fan! I don’t think a minute has passed since I first tried their float that I haven’t craved more. It’s literally so good 🤤🤤🤤 Also, had the kitchen sink hotdog (without cheese tho) and an order of potato teasers, and both were amazingly delicious. I have to say the teasers were even better than Swenson’s. 🤫 I can’t wait to come visit OH again just so I can eat here again!
