Four Winds Restaurant

We ate lunch last Saturday at the Four Winds. Came for the Ranger Burgers, and they didn't disappoint! Had three of them between the 4 adults and 4 kids, and barely finished them. They tasted great, just like a diner hamburger should. Our waitress, Shakayla, was great. Even brought us extra buns so we could divide the burger meat up. We also ate out back on the patio and were all alone. Great area for the kids to run around in before the food came.

I have been a pretty loyal customer for about 30 years, off and on. Through all of the openings, closings, and changes of owners/leasors. The decor is the best it's ever been, and I love supporting local, small businesses. (Although it's about 35 miles from my house). The food is still terrific, but I really don't like paying (after tip) $20 for a hamburger meal. I know that restaurants run on a razor thin margin, and also that food prices have skyrocketed, but I still just have a problem with paying $20 (again, generous tip included). It's still a great place, with great food, and it's nostalgic for me to know that I can still eat a full-size Ranger Burger (although I can see it when I step on the scales nowadays).

I am very happy this place has re-opened. The last time I ate here was in 2001 as a kid. Although just recently reopened, the staff has adapted to the large number of guests they have for lunch. We were seated, ordered, and had our food in front of us in a little over 10 minutes in the middle of the lunch rush. The food was hot and fresh. We will definitely be coming back soon!
