Steer Inn Restaurant

I'm from Tennessee and staying in Oklahoma temporarily for my job. I was hungry and decided to stop by and dine in at the Steer Inn Restaurant in Cushing, Oklahoma. I have to say that the restuarant was very clean and the staff as well as my waitress was very friendly, professional, and attentive to any questions that I had about the menu. I ordered the 1lb Jalapeno Fried Chicken Dinner with my sides being tater tots and onion rings and when my order came out everything was very fresh and enough for two people. I can't believe the amount and size of the onions for one of my sides because normally you only get 3 to four small onion rings and wondering did I get shorted but not here. I couldn't eat everything that I ordered and had to ask for a to go plate. The food was great and customer service was outstanding. Thank you Steer Inn for a memorable experience at your restaurant.

Went in for lunch. Our server was great. She would make sure we were OK and needed anything as fast as a frog on a fly. My husband got the grilled jalapeño chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and cottage cheese. I myself got the Southwest grilled chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes. There are onions, bell peppers, cheese, and Pico de galo on it that blends in amazing with the juicy tender chicken.

Gee! What a pleasant surprise in Cushing, Oklahoma! The owner, Jason, waited on us personally and was great. My friend ordered fried squash to start and it was fresh and cooked to perfection. I love fried okra but I happened to like it "almost burned"...and that's exactly the way it was served. Just as I asked. The entrees were wonderful and were large enough to take half home for a second meal. I'll make sure to eat at this good old home cooking place every time I'm in the area. Also great desserts and fabulous Potato soup

Had the buffet tonight. It was excellent!! The Salisbury steak was so good! Fried fish was great, mashed potatoes and brown gravy were excellent! Everything was good and I can't say that about all buffets! Waitress was really nice however, it ALWAYS bugs me when I put trash and used dishes at the end of the table and waitresses come to the table, and leave without taking them away! Why!?!! I can only assume they weren't trained properly. This happens everywhere I eat out. Bothers me to no end!! Especially if you eat at a buffet and get clean dishes when you have seconds! Who wants to eat at a table full of dirty dishes!!??! I don't! Waitresses, pick up paper aka straw wrappers, used napkins and dirty used dishes when you go to or by your tables! PLEASE! Highly recommend!

We rushed in a couple minutes past closing and they had not locked the door. My dad is super picky but LOVES their chicken fried steak! We ordered their frequently, but I know they didn't recognize my partner because they are not the one who usually pick up Dad's order. So, for someone they didn't know, they open back up their kitchen because they knew this old man would not eat anything else if we didn't get this food. That is amazing customer service! Not to mention the best yeast rolls in this area!

I am so glad I got here to experience another story about trying out another restaurant with a long time friend. Apparently he misread the ad and said we'd get all you could eat prime rib, I'm like sure even with a stomach reduction surgery, that's a good deal. Well we found out it was a prime rib with all you can eat buffet...and we weren't disappointed cause we ended up with Ribeyes that I would put up next to any 5star Chef/facility out there.
