Los Molcajetes

Under new management. Food was great, although my husband would have preferred a thicker, yellow queso on his nachos. Flavors were excellent. I had a taco plate with 2 large, packed tacos with sides of rice & beans. The meat in the tacos was exactly what I was looking for, tasty REAL beef in a generous portion that was not soupy. The salsa was spiced just right; not too mild. Impressive wait staff, attentive without smothering...and they removed their aprons prior to going to the restroom! Made us feel really good that they cared about our health as well as their own. Won't be our last visit!

Can I give negative stars? Went in for lunch, was there 30 to 40min and never got our order taken! There was 1 older worker that helped but moved very slow unable to take orders or drinks etc and ONLY 1 waitress working whole place! She took drink and later food orders, brought out food and ran register! Waitress couldn't keep updated on guests and we came in right behind a table, she took their order a while after they were seated, same time as us but just in front of us! She then many minutes later 10 to 15 came back out to take more orders and even though we mentioned our order still wasn't taken yet, SHE went to other tables, who came im after us, to take their orders! 2 people running whole place and the 1cooker, no bus boy, it was ridiculous! Left without eating, just didn't have 2.5 to 3 hrs for lunch! Won't be back, managers should be ashamed!
