Panera Bread

Had the most rudest customer service here! I ordered "You Pick 2" where I specifically mentioned half Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich with a bowl of soup and a side of chips plus a mango smoothie. She gave me a total and I paid the bill. When I saw the printed receipt, she hadn't added the bowl of soup and she had charged for me a whole sandwich instead. I went to the counter to explain her about the situation to which she shouted at me that she would have to cancel the whole order if I "want" to "change" it. I explained to her that it's not me who wants to "change" the order but it was her who typed my order wrong even after she was repeating everything I was ordering but she still typed wrong? She then explained me that if I order a "You Pick 2" with a bowl of soup, it is going to be "expensive for me". Really? Am I asking you to pay for my food? Do you get to decide if my food is going to be expensive for me? This just really frustrated me and I asked her to cancel my order and I am never going back to this place. I drove to Panera in Campbell and had a great experience and ate my "expensive" food.

This was our first visit after the pandemic and I would say the place isn't very good now. The chicken spicy sandwich was dry and the chicken noodle soup in a sourdough bread bowl was neither hot nor sufficient. Almost half the bowl was empty and no butter etc was available for the bread served with the soup. Seems pandemic had played havoc with their standards.
