Outstanding Japanese food. Only complaint is that we arrived almost an hour before their stated close time and were rushed through the whole meal, being told we had to order everything we wanted almost as soon as we sat down. We will go back, but this time it will be at least two hours before close.

Small house converted to a restaurant. Very cozy, with multiple rooms. Tried the following items: Soft shell crab was excellent. Not too doughy. Hibachi cama had a lot of meat on it, a little dry on the outside but very moist inside. Salmon sashimi. Big pieces of fresh fish. Shrimp tempura roll. Good, with avocado. Service was very attentive.

Kind of unique, restaurant is in a structure by itself, with outdoor seating set up in the front, entrance on the side. Has been around for over 20 years, but changed owner 3 years ago. My first time here. Salmon skin salad was so so, skin was not crispy, kind of fishy. The deluxe nigiri was pretty good, but the rice was a bit too sticky. The Agi tataki was the best, fresh! Service was excellent!

whatever you do don’t get the matcha crème brûlée dessert I’d say the meal was a 4 or 4.5 until the end when we decided to try that crème brûlée.. it’s too dense and eggy and kinda ruined the whole experience uni nigiri was great, seared hamachi nigiri was great I’d come back again, better vibes than amami for a date night just no dessert

This place is awesome and the owner/chef is super friendly, sit at the bar and strike up a conversation. Great food, fish that literally melts in your mouth. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Authentic Japanese cuisine. One of the best hidden jewel in the Bay area. Management has changed but the taste is not...as always good quality..good presentation. Reasonable prices. Menu is good. They also serve from full menue during lunch if you want to select more options.👍😁

This sushi restaurant has fresh and delicious sushi. The sashimi is great as well. I also tried salmon teriyaki for my dinner, and the salmon was so soft and good. Can you imagine 4 pieces of salmon for just one person? The restaurant has an outdoor patio which will let you relaxed. The Japanese server was so kind. I definitely recommend this place.
