Absolutely the best ribs I ever tasted in my life! My boyfriend, my best friend and I were thoroughly satisfied, impressed, and delighted by the amazing customer service of the owner and staff and the deliciousness of the food! The sauces were so savory and I could tell they were house made! I really don’t understand what the most recent 1 star review id talking about. Clearly they didn’t have the Sweet and Spicy sauce! (Our favorite) Everything was hot and juicy and all of us were so satisfied! I can’t wait to come back and try the new brisket that they are going to be adding to the menu.

Today, after a soaking hike we stopped by Smokey Q BBQ and got some sandwiches, sides and tea. It was all fantastic! The pulled pork sandwich had great, juicy smokey meat and paired deliciously with the hot BBQ sauce, though I tried it with the mustard sauce and really liked that, too. The pulled chicken sandwich paired perfectly with the mustard sauce. We had the cole slaw and the baked beans which both were just right. The kind people plus the delicious fare will definitely bring us back!

After reading the reviews on here I thought we would give it a try.
Apparently they only show the good reviews
because we did not like this place at all.
The food we got was cold and had no flavor at all
not even the sauces.
We both got sweet tea and it was not good either.
So we grabbed a bottle drink and it was warm
and flat.
Very disappointed
To the owner who responded to.my review.
First of all it was a joke about only showing the good reviews.
I know you can not filter them.
And second I left a review like everyone else who has ate here.
And my opinion was me and the rest of my party I was with,.did not like the food or the experience here.
And no we didn't have covid.
I just can't believe the owner of this establishment would go on a personal attack of having a disease just because we didn't like the food.

When we moved to Georgia we wanted to find a nice down home BBQ place with great food. This is the spot. The owner is great and so are the people who work there. This is our favorite place for BBQ hands down. You must try the smoked wings!

2nd time food from this place. Fool me twice shame on me. Owner and staff great but I can microwave food on my boat, so why buy it from them. Tonight stale bread n buns. Tater tots were probably rewarmed in microwave multiple days before I got them. I wish them luck and anybody else who dares to try. It won't be my family. Sorry but you better step it up to stay in business.!

We popped in here on Labor Day 2021 for a quick lunch, the service was great. Great tunes rocking on the porch while we ate. We got the pork sandwich combo with a drink and mac n cheese. The pork was delicious, not dry, decent portions on the sandwich and the mac n cheese was killer. I wish we coulda had some of their frozen drinks that looked delicious but all in all it was a great experience, Next time we pass through this area we will definitely stop back in. Just tell the gate guard you are there for some delicious food.

Visiting from Tucson AZ and wanted a little BBQ. What can I say but wow! The ribs are probably the best barbecue ribs that I've ever had in my life. Judson the owner is a class act himself, big movie fan and a pleasure to talk to. Next time I visit here which I will be doing I am gonna make sure to stop by smokies and get some more of his famous ribs!

Great barbecue at the lake! Enjoyed the friendly service and the pulled pork sandwich was excellent. I might tinker with the sauces just a bit. Enjoyed the patio to catch some NFL while we had lunch. Great place on the lake.
