I ordered take-out, so I can't speak too much on a dine-in experience. My order did take a while in preperation, but then again, good food takes time. This place is not a fast food joint.
The food here is prepared by those native to India, not someone who was trained to cook Indian food, there is a difference, in my opinion. The taste, quality and preperation of the food speaks to the restaurant's authenticity and originality. A major bonus was that the cook was kind enough to give me extra samosas for my long wait. So sweet!!! I am glad I gave these guys a try and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and service!
Really liked even though I rarely eat Indian food, I went in around 1pm was a small menu to pick out from.
We order from Mama’s almost religiously—at least once a week. They always make their samosas fresh and their chicken tikka masala is my favorite. I think it has the most pleasing tomato to cream ratio. Is it the most authentic/best place in the neighborhood? I’ve given up trying to compare, because at the end of the day, after a grueling day at work, I always come back to Mama’s. (Plus, the owners are super nice.)
Friendly owners with wife and husband serving up some delicious home made Indian food. The food can take a while to make, but that's because it's being made fresh. Will definitely come back here again.
They're decent indian food, definitely authentic but a little off flavor at least during our visit. They're cauliflower dish was a little salty hence the off flavor coment. They're chicken naan though- was AMAZING. Oh and when you walk in you see everyone drinking mango lassies, there's a reason for that. It's because they're delicious.
The hospitality is the wining factor however. The owners are so sweet and beyond good people. They make sure you are happy and that you're satisfied.
Will def return for the lassies and the SO for the chicken naan.
I love going to Mam's Indian Kitchen. It feels like going to eat with your aunt and uncle. They are such a sweet couple and really go the distance to understand your preferences so the more you go, the more 'at home' feeling you get.
I love love love their malai kofta and their samosas are out of the world! Everyone i've taken here has loved it. It is a small mom and pops shop so set your expectation straight. Better yet, clear your expectations and let them surprise you!
Parking may be tight during their dinner rush because there are quite a few restaurants in this strip mall. Enjoy!
A true "hole in the wall with great food"-- they did a tremendous amount of studio catering so they have specials not on the menu. Friendly, modest family-run business with halal (extra care in processing) meats and rich, well-seasoned sauces
