Glory Days Grill

This place always great. I go once or twice a month. It's always been something of a meeting ground for people in Culpeper, I usually run into someone I know. Good place to keep up with the social scene. Food is fantastic, love the burgers. Good selection of drinks even though they only carry midshelf brands or lower. Also, I don't think I've ever had any rude servers. Seems like as long as you treat them like human beings they tend to treat you as one too. Imagine that.

Clearly not enough servers for how many people they sat down in the restaurant. Chicken sandwich was painfully small, could have gone to Chick-fil-A and saved some cash. Ordered it buffalo style, but it came with American cheese instead of blue... Who does that? My son ordered pizza, but got cheeseburgers, my wife's was missing items. Not a great experience. No refills given

As a long-time customer of more than 10 years and eating two meals there every day I have seen a huge improvement in the management and staff. What a difference! Just goes to show you what a good leader can do with the same staff. Prior management would hardly come out of the office. Trina and the assistant managers are out helping with everything necessary to make this a well-oiled machine. All of the wait staff are very friendly and courteous! I know most of the staff on a first-name basis. I will continue to support this establishment in the future.

My daughter and I stopped for supper at about 7 Sunday night, 3 hours from home on a long day trip. She and her family had eaten there, when they lived closer, and enjoyed "amazing" Mac and cheese. On our way north in the morning, we'd made up our minds to stop by for supper on our way home. When we were seated, the waitress took our drink order, a sweet tea, and a milk. We received 2 sweet teas, mine was warm, had about an inch of ice, and was cloudy, like they attempted to chill it too soon after brewing. When she came to take our dinner order, she realized she brought the wrong drink, and fixed it. We ordered the Mac and cheese we had waited all day for, but they didn't have it. That was all we came for. My daughter then tried for buffalo thighs, that was also unavailable. She finally settled for a patty melt, the waitress looked at her like she had 3 heads. Obviously, the waitress was a bit unfamiliar with the menu. My general back up is a Reuben, which my daughter mentioned was on the menu. The food was ok, but disappointing after not being able to get what we really wanted. This was my first visit, I doubt we'll be going by again on our future trips north to see my son in the hospital in Fairfax. I see other glowing reviews from locals, so I was surprised that our visit seemed disorganized, and incomplete. The gal that served us was pleasant, and tried, but after a lifetime in and out of the service industry, I was sorely disappointed.

We had dinner here tonight and the food was good. Service was adequate. We had a problem shortly after dinner. My daughter left her IPhone on the table. We realized less than 1 mile away as her iqatch notified her she was no longer get connected. Upon returning( 5 minutes). We looked at outsidetavleqhoch had been cleared already. She saw our waitresses asked if her phone had been recovered No was her answer. We continued to ping and call the phone. We knew it was in the the restaurant as it has no reconnected to the iwatch. One manger says no one turned in a phone. We continued calling THE PHONE. ITS IN THE BUILDING SOMEWHERE. Assistant Mgr says let me check with other manger in the back. And wouldn't you know he or she had the phone. We believe the waitresses found as she was bussing her tables. Maybe turned into this manager who had no intention of telling staff he had the phone. We feel very fortunate that it was recovered. However due to the mistrust of the staff we will not return to this Glory Days in the future. We visit often to Culpeper for horse shows. We will share our story with others who frequent these shows also.
