Jack In The Box

The food is always reliable, and the service is always reliably awful. The last few times we have been through the drive thru, the attendants have been rude from the get-go, and even ignore you for way longer than should be okay. We tried going inside first this time, but we were ignored for 20 minutes. Nobody even acknowledged us.

We ordered several burgers and one order of nuggets. They forgot the nuggets. Lobby was closed so I called the store and the lady flatly days, "They're in you bag." I try calling back twice more and they forwarded me to the fax line. Finally I had to get out of my car, go into the lobby even though it was supposed to be closed, and demand the nuggets at the counter. Then they prepared them, swearing at each other in the back the whole time.

My GF turned me on to Jack in the Box a couple of years ago...she remembered the chain from when she was young. I don't know what it is about their tacos, I keep wanting just one more! They're crispy around the edges and soft in the middle, and don't crack apart when you take a bite...they look like something that shouldn't taste good but they do... you're not sure what's in them, but for some reason you don't care. I just got 10 of them for well south of $10 in Cuba, MO, and sure do wish they would come on down to Springfield, Mo so I could come by every week and and keep buying them until I can figure out why I can't live without them! 😅

One of the worst places to eat I watched the lady in drive thru blow the soda suds off one of the customers drinks. The fries were cold. Got a sour dough sandwich and it had a bun on it not sourdough bread they tried to tell me it was the end/butt of the bread. Got it replaced and yet another bun was on there. My water had something in it yellowish settled at the bottom to half way. Wasted my money threw the food away and the drive thru employee named Elaina was the lady who blew on the drink. Never again will I go there or suggest to eat there.
