Crew The Bar

I give it two stars only because the waitress was sweet and friendly. No more than this because my sister and I had two glasses of wine (their"house"wine) and two Bud Lites that totalled to $29!!! Stepped in around 3 on Sat. Dec 14th we were the only two customers when we arrived. In addition, we had ordered an appetizer that never came after waiting half an hour. As we were about to leave the owner came rushing out of the kitchen with what she said was our appetizer; baked avocado dip on baguette toast, as advertised on the menu at 6 pieces for $8. When I mentioned that we had waited so long we thought the Crew had forgotten about us, she had the audacity to say that each order is made fresh therefore it takes a little longer to prepare .... I am attaching a picture of this fancy freshly made appetizer; baguette slices (not toasted) smeared with what looks like Publix brand artichoke dip. And there were only five pieces. We declined due to the wait. She kindly said, oh we'll take them of your bill. And that's when she stuck me for a bill of $29!!! House wine is $9 a glass? Bud light is $5.50 a can?! Yeah - WAY overpriced.

I'm a snowbird and every year we look for new places to go, so my husband and I and a bunch of our friends went last night. We absolutely loved the back patio area, it is soooooo cool the way it's set up. We love to sit outside and it's just perfect. We met the owner and she's an exceptional hostess and goes out of her way to make you happy. She listens and try's to implement things you suggest. We couldnt recommend it more and we will for sure be back again. So check it out you wont be sorry, its definitely the best new place in Crystal River.

We stopped in Sunday night there was 3 of us. It wasn’t busy there one table with 8-10 people. We heard it was a nice place and it was but we sat there over 10 minutes and no one came over and waited on us . And when we got up we walked right past the owner and the girl in the front bar said thanks for coming in come back to see us REALLY!!!! No thanks

A group of peaceful citizens lined the streets in Crystal River as part of the #WeThePeopleMarch, a national event. Lisa, the owner of #CrewTheBar came over to show support and invited us in after the event for air conditioning and cold beer. After standing in the hot sun for over and hour we came and found a beautiful little bar with a fabulous outdoor space. I really enjoyed the unique art. Kathy served us quickly and graciously and told us that Lisa insisted the first round was on her! Lisa rounded up some snacks even though they don't serve food. She made some cheese toast and brought out bowls of nuts. Even without her generosity I'd give this place a stellar review.they were all very welcoming there was plenty of places to sit, a wonderful outdoor space and beautiful decor.
