The Biscuit Barn

I am so glad we stopped here. The food was amazing and staff was so friendly! I’m not sure how they get their biscuits cooked so perfectly, but they were! And the gravy was one of the best too! I can’t rave enough about this place. If your in the area and looking for something good to eat go here! It’s worth the wait...if there is a wait. We went on a Friday afternoon and there was plenty of space and seating. Be prepared to have a full biscuit belly when you leave!

We swam with the manatees in the morning and our manatee guide Jake from Fun 2 Dive recommended this place for breakfast. 😋He said he frequents this place often. The service was awesome and the food was delicious. The biscuits were excellent and the coffee just kept coming non-stop. I hope you love this place as much as we did! 😊

TOP 10 BEST BISCUITS AND GRAVY... I consider myself a biscuit and gravy connoisseur as it is my go to for breakfast both at home and while traveling. I heard about Biscuit Barn from a friend awhile ago so I decided to give ti a try. The Biscuit Barn did not disappoint. WOW hands down in the top 10 biscuits and gravy I have ever had. The biscuits are scratch made and the gravy has big chunks of sausage in it. It was just like being at home. I also tired the shrimp and grits and they where really good as well. The owner is a great guy that takes pride in his business. Our waitress did a great job of keeping our table filled up with coffee and drinks. I will be back to try the home made cinnamon rolls next.

This is the best breakfast place by far anywhere in Citrus County. Best bacon, best eggs, best biscuits, best service, best prices and on and on it goes. Owner AJ is awesome and checked in on every table. Wish more establishments here in Citrus County had his level of management and efficiency in training the staff. This is a must for breakfast and for lunch. Absolutely delicious food, homemade and Incredibly reasonable for this area. I would highly recommend you trying it out. Service with a smile and excellent food is a win-win always.
