Great spot for lunch in Crozet, VA. We wanted something quick and delicious and this place hit the spot. Everything good that we want in a lunch: delicious and healthy food (and options), decent pricing, friendly and quick service, and a great location for lunch in the heart of Crozet! Came here with one of our sons and had plenty of seating and room to roam in the common area of the Piedmont place. Enjoyed the lunch and will return again. My only knock is I'd like a few more drink options at some point in the future...though no rush as I usually drink water!

Both the service and the food were lacking on our recent visit for lunch. We ordered kid’s tacos, fajita tacos and the real dill tacos. All came with very dry, overcooked large chicken chunks, and little to no flavor at all. The only saving grace were the sauces on the non-kid tacos. The employees both at the front counter and the prep area were curt, and not friendly at all. Our experience was far from any other review and we were really looking forward to a great meal. Sorely disappointed.

First impression walking in. Open bright and welcoming. Super attentive and friendly staff. The smells inside made me even hungrier. Online ordering and pickup was a breeze as their website was easy to navigate. Now to the “meat and potatoes” of my experience. Ordered the “Real Dill chicken Naan” and the super convenient take-n-bake chicken pesto pasta option. The Dill Chicken Naan was wonderfully portioned for lunch. Absolutely delicious, and their Naan had the perfect texture with just the right amount of fluff. Their take-n-bake was the accurately sized for 2-3 people or multiple lunches and it smells amazing. This place is the absolute gem of Crozet. Morsel Compass has won my family over to become our spot for a quick and delicious lunch/dinner. Morsel Compass, you’ve gotten us excited again for take-out again so keep up the good work!

We are in the Charlottesville, VA area visiting family. We are from Florida. Yesterday we visited a local peach orchard to buy peaches and their yummy donuts. After we left there, it was lunch and we were hungry and headed into Crozet. My wife was Internet surfing and found the Morsel Compass. The menu looked interesting, so we decided to check it out. It is located on the 2nd floor of Piedmont Place across from the Crozet library. Parking was really convenient allowing you to park on the same level as the restaurant. My wife had The Real Dill Chicken on Naan. The chicken was well cooked and moist. The house pickled peppers were very flavorful, all made especially delicious by the dill aioli sauce. I am normally a meat kind of guy and there were a number of menu items that attracted me, but I selected the grilled brie sandwich which has arugula, thin sliced granny smith apples, fig butter and of course brie. It was off the chart delicious. The lady that took our order, the manager for sure and perhaps the owner, was very helpful and gracious. Both entrees included a side. We choose the salad which was fresh and flavorful. Seating is available both inside and outside. We love the gouda cheese from the Monastery and our favorite summertime drinking wine is Stinson Vineyard's Sugar Hollow White so we periodically visit Crozet. We look forward to our next visit to the Morsel Compass.

I moved to the Charlottesville area from Texas 12 years ago and have always been disappointed with the “Mexican” food in the area. I am so glad to have found a place that serves fresh, delicious tacos that remind me of home. I absolutely love their fajita tacos. The people working there are kind and the service is fast. It’s a must try!
