Off Square Brewing

This was my 2nd time here. The food was as awesome as it was the first time. The place has excellent atmosphere and the staff was awesome. I have to say the BBQ brisket pizza was awesome! Maddie Is fabulous, she was drawing beer and was still listening two the two guys and answered their comments. By the way she recommends the BBQ brisket and so do I!

Good food, good service, good beer. Great outdoor patio and dog friendly (on a leash). They even offered to fill up the water bowl for the dog. They had a high chair for our little one. Flights were available, three 7oz pours. I enjoyed a mug of the Square One Lager, it was a delicious amber. To eat, I enjoyed the market special which was a pulled pork platter. I personally would have liked more meat on the platter and less sides, but that’s my own opinion. The meat was delicious. I ordered a separate side of fries and it was great for sharing. Good music playing throughout our visit too!

2nd time here since the opening. 1st experience just mediocre, they were new and food was very subpar. The ambience its just a warehouse, but outside patio seating is cute and has a fireplace and some chairs. We aren't drinkers so we personally are just interested in family owned and local dining areas. Visited recently and the food was pretty tasteless, over fried and not memorable. Memorable in the meaning that I will crave it , and want to come back. We ordered a fried chicken sandwich, but it had no significant seasoning or taste. Chicken was overcrusted and fried for far too long (as pictured). French fries were ok (as pictured) but they as well were very oily and kinda crumbly not entirely large pieces of fries. Hamburger was ok, but still missing a good seasoning. Both were served with pickles (butter pickles not dill.......we believe anyways --as pictured) In conclusion, we will not return for any meals. My college aged kids said they would maybe return for patio seating, and order appetizers and a beer. Hopefully the menu changes and the food becomes more desirable. It's in a great location that can make alot of money if the food and events start appealing to the masses.
