Chicago Sam's

I showed up for happy hour and got fried pickles and nachos. Everything was great. We stayed until about 9 because we were captivated by the live band ("Miss Fortune" was the band I think) they had and I generally don't like live music. Great service, huge space and nice crowd. I could have stayed all night, but we had to meet friends elsewhere.

As far as sports bars in the area (30 min radius), yeah, this place is 5 stars. The service is personable and accommodating, there’s a TV for EVERYTHING, food is good pub grub, 1/2 decent tap beer selection. Only complaint is they didn’t bring back the tavern games (pool, video games, etc) since COVID.

Went last night and the live band was awesome , was very surprised and pleased . The food was less than mediocre, my street tacos had 3 or 4 dice sized chicken pieces in them and the corn soft shell was so dry , was not good nor worth the cost . Next time I will eat beforehand , 10 dollar cover is highest I’ve had to pay anywhere especially for a sports bar where you are going to spend money eating and drinking . The place is very large , noisy and full of TVs- so if your looking to watch a game you’d like it here . Service was fine too . Music was 5 stars at least they introduced me to this great band - Morgan Skelly and the old crowd , I will certainly look for them at other venues .
