Hot Kim Chi

This place may not look like much but it sure packs a lot of flavor and great food! You HAVE to check this place out if you're looking for authentic Korean dishes and drinks. Absolutely amazing flavors on all the dishes we tried and their coffee was superb. We tried their sweet potato noodles with steak dish which came with the hot Kim chi, homemade Cole slaw, and two dumplings. The dish was so packed with flavor, everything on it was delicious. I personally loved their coleslaw and the flavors in the noodle part of the dish. The Kim chi was amazing but it is spicy so I could not enjoy it as much as I wanted to (but that's how it's supposed to be spicy and delicious - I just can't handle spice as much). We also sampled the Korean corn dog (which was my favorite guilty pleasure. A MUST try!) and the miso glazed salmon dish. The salmon was so packed with flavor it practically melted in your mouth. The coffee, both house Korean and, was delicious! The Korean coffee came with a waffle crisp inside, perfect for dunking. The coffee wasn't too sweet but was not tart. Absolutely perfect blend. The other coffee came with homemade sugar "candies" (for lack of a better description) still not overpowering in sweetness but an interesting element for the drink. So yummy!! I would highly recommend it! We also took home a slice of their homemade machi sponge cake and red bean mochi - so amazing- backed to perfection.

With each tender bite, a sensation divine, United on my palate, flavors would entwine. Boba milk tea, an elixir to behold, Popping pearls infused, a tale untold. Brown sugar's embrace, a smoky affair, A melody of senses, fragrance fills the air. Cucumber kimchi, a verdant delight, An orchestra of freshness, a captivating sight. Beyond mere goodness, it transcends the mundane, An epicurean masterpiece, a flavor reigns. This family-owned haven, secrets untold, Original Korean recipes, treasures of old. Each dish prepared, with love and care, Whispers of home, an essence we share. A newfound sanctuary, my soul's retreat, A weekly pilgrimage, this culinary feat. For the Bao Buns, I returned the next day, A selfish indulgence, my own savory display. Hot Kim Chi's, a gastronomic dream, A symphony of tastes, a poetic theme. In this poetic realm, my senses would gleam, An ode to this haven, my heart does redeem.

Love at first bite!!!! I wish we would have dined in sooner! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, our 5 year old loved everything and that's saying a lot! They were out of beef so I settled for chicken Bulgogi and it did not disappoint! The Mandu, shrimp shumai, and corn croquette appetizers were amazing. The butterfly pea tea was most excellent, but I was a bit taken back by the $1 upcharge for a cold tea. But for the pièce de résistance was the cucumber kimchi, it was spicy, crunchy and juicy. I absolutely love kimchi and it was 10/10. The staff was friendly and sweet. We will definitely be back!
