The Windrow

Nice environment and the service was great. The food quality is awful. I ordered the prime rib medium rare...it comes with a potato choice and the salad bar. My steak was cooked to the correct temperature but the outside tasted burnt...like they never clean their grill burnt. My baked potato was ruined by the chip dip they call "sour cream" and to top it off the salad bar consisted of lettuce, carrots, celery and ranch dressing. That's it...nothing else. I was very disappointed.

Server was nice, steak was ordered medium rare, arrived looking like shoe leather. Returned it to chef, took over 20 minutes to get replacement. Got the bill along with a coupon for $5 off our next visit. Asked to see the manager who scolded us for giving the server such a hard time, which we didn't do. She scowled at us and walked away. Food was fine, but under this type of management don't dare complain or you get blamed. We brought a group of 25 people. You're welcome Windrow. We will go somewhere else next time. Unacceptable!

The 'sports bar' part, may be good, can't say...but the restaurant portion if in any decent sized town would go out of business. I have given it 3 chances now, with equally bad results. If you are driving through town, and hungry, keep driving. I typically do not write bad reviews, just avoid the place, but had to make an exception for this one.
