Stopped in to try some of the beers from Irwin since the main brewery is production only. The beers were pretty good. I especially liked the Mexican Lager. The cask condition pulls weren't my thing, but wanted to try them since there aren't many cask conditioned ales out there. We were still pretty full from lunch that we ended up back there a few hours later. The roasted beet salad with blackened trout was good. It was a massive portion too! Bartender was really cool as well.

Good lunch spot. The elk meatloaf that had a good mushroom gravy sauce on top. It comes with mashed potatoes and a side salad. I was pleased they didn't drown the salad in salad dressing. The pulled pork Mac and cheese was the right size and liked how the pork was intermixed into the Mac instead of just piled on top. The fish and chips was good and it came with a really good remoulade. Comes with a side of fries, but if you are a pickle fan it has some nice half dollar sized pickles with a good crunch.

Food is average, cocktails great and service was very poor. Service was typical mediocre tourist town service. Our waitress didn’t have a clue about the menu or options for liquor options for classic cocktails. She appeared to be aggravated anytime she was asked to serve which is her job. The restaurant was fairly empty and we had to constantly hunt down the waitress to get another round or have dirty dishes cleared. Can only recommend the drinks the rest of the dining experience was not memorable.

Visited Public House for the first time and I had a phenomenal experience. The service was amazing! Management is superb. Shoutout to the supervisor Ashley and the manager Jason they are absolutely awesome and the food was sooo good! I definitely recommend the shrimp and grits it was so savory and delicious. They even brought out a birthday desert for us which was such a great surprise. I will Definitely be back it was a great experience with such a good vibe and the prices are so affordable. Even the chefs are extraordinary 🥹🥹. If you’re wondering whether to visit here or not this is your confirmation to come visit 🤟🏾

I almost never leave public reviews, but this needed to be put out there. I ate here last weekend. They tried to charge me for a drink that I never ordered, when I pointed the mistake out to the bartender/server, he was visibly annoyed. He took the drink off the bill and returned with the correct check. The next day I looked at my CC transitions to find that he had ADDED AN EXTRA $20 to the tip section and even charged my card a second time. I will never be going back here and I recommend no one else should either, unless they want to be charged for things they didn't order or sign for.
