Marchitelli's

Really tasty! I couldn’t finish the seafood pasta but my husband took care of that! Really good sauce with the seafood pasta and the elk cannelloni was so tender and flavorful too! Nothing wrong with either of those dishes. We also got a Caesar salad and the special salad of the night which we both devoured!

I want to give this place a better review, they were friendly, but just cannot. We made a reservation here for 8p at the end of March, showed up right on time. Another party came in and took the table that it looked like they were setting up for us. So we needed to wait outside in the cold for 30+ minutes before we were seated. Could have gone inside, but our group was large enough that it would have jammed up the entry area/bar. We were finally sat, and drink orders taken. Obviously at this point we just want any service at all, quickly. Was not until 9p that we received our drink order. Food was fine, my clam sauce linguine was very soupy. Server was nice and comped our drinks which was excellent and gracious, but honestly the least that could be done for having to wait that long after making a reservation. And this was a late reservation, we were hoping to go to another place that closed at 10 but couldn't because of the length of the wait. Threw off the whole night. I understand things happen out of control of the restaurant, and it was an insanely busy winter, but this just seemed like an insane amount of time to wait considering we had made a reservation. Would not go back.

My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous meal at Marchitelli's last night! She ordered the veal parmesan which she thoroughly enjoyed. I built my own pasta dish with angle hair, pesto sauce and shrimp. We showed up right when they opened and were seated at the bar. We got to meet Michael, the owner, and had a great conversation about living in a ski town. We would highly recommend Marchitelli's to anyone coming to Crested Butte for a visit. Can't wait to go back!

Loved this place. Big, fancy dinner with 10 of my closest friends. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The scallops were world-class! The seafood lasagna was pretty good, but after tasting my wife's scallops, I realized that I ordered incorrectly. Our group drank lots of good wine and beer. The Italian cream cake was fantastic (almost as good as the scallops). The tiramisu was a little disappointing, but I can't complain about this place. My favorite in CB and I'll be back.

We called this place at least 20 times to secure a reservation and got nothing but a weird busy signal. Finally we just showed up 10 minutes before they opened and we told by a dismissive hostess that they were too busy to answer the phones and they couldn’t seat us. All the negative reviews about their attitude were confirmed…try Bonez instead! Great Mexican food and great service

When in the town of Crested-Butte make it a must to schedule a dinner reservation at Marchitelli's. The food is incredble and uses unique flavors to kick up traditional Italian dishes. Our 10 person group had salmon, scallopini with elk and clams, rack of lamb and eggplant. Appetizers were bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms and calamari. Each and EVERY dish was fabulous. The elk was sooo tender and the taste was better than veal or chicken. Tough to describe the rich yet butter taste of this protein, for those carnivores out there you have to try this dish. Reservations are needed since this is the go to place for a reasonable priced meal that tastes like you paid a 2 or 3 times for it. Found it very reasonable compared to other places within Crested-Butte.
