Creekside Lodge

I have visited The Creekside Lodge several times while in Crawfordsville on business. The food has always been good and the staff is friendly. I have taken a few colleagues here and everyone has liked it. On the last visit I had the ribeye steak with blue cheese crumbles, the steak was cooked perfectly. Creekside has become my go-to for dinner when I am in town.

This was our first time at Creekside Lodge for our "Young at Heart" group from Frankfort, and it was incredible. We had a group of around 22, and everyone loved their meals. We will definitely be back !! Our Waitress was very kind, professional and very patient with us. This restaurant is truly a gem !!

If I could give negative stars I would. The waitress was ok, but we had to ask several times for refills and it got irritating. The food was TERRIBLE!!! They were out of multiple food items, the quality was horrendous, and the food was lukewarm. The portion was advertised “generous portion” but really felt like half of what it should be. However, I’m happy it was half portion because if I took another bite at the quality level it was at, I probably would have thrown up. I won’t drag this out, but for a date night dinner over $50 (without adult beverages just to put the menu price into perspective), I would have enjoyed 2 TV dinners from Walmart in the microwave better!

We were headed back to Indy and wanted to stop into a local restaurant (no chains) and Creekside delivered. No nonsense local eatery with a indoor & large outdoor eating area overlooking the creek as expected. We got the Hawaiian Pizza which was brought to the table on a take home box (nice touch!) The country fried steak seemed to be the most common meal everyone else was getting so my bro got that. Everything was good, service was friendly and they have a full bar service. If you are looking for a relaxed local place that is family friendly and more unique to the area then Creekside is the place for Crawfordsville

Amazing location with a great view of the creek. Sitting outside is the way to go; serene and peaceful. However, you get snapped back to reality by the mediocre food and less than steller service. My taco salad was a salt bomb, the salsa was flavorless and it took 45 minutes to get it. Fixing a few little things would make a huge difference.
