A little "under the radar" gem in Cranston. The Chef owner Mike has a great menu, fresh ingredients and it's all prepared in house. His pizzas are creative and delicious with toppings like house made rib-eye, brisket & quail eggs. I find that soup & a small pizza is perfect for dinner tonight & lunch tomorrow. In this fast food/corporate restaurant society we've fallen into, it's nice to have this great local spot close by.

If I could give them six stars I would. My girlfriend and I ordered the Brooklyn Salad which was yummy and came family style, and we split the brisket sandwich, dreamy. Service was outstanding.

We've been getting Sunday night pizza from here for several months and it's great -- thin crust, packed so it doesn't get soggy, and great combinations that we haven't found elsewhere. We'll continue. Last night we went there for a meal for the second time. An entree each and we shared a beer. Just like the last time, they were FABULOUS! One was a chicken special with basil pesto on tortellini with black olives. (I never would have thought that black olives would go so perfectly with pesto.)The other was chicken sundried tomato over spaghetti with mushrooms, spinach and goat cheese. Both were perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and nicely presented. From the first bite to the last we kept ooing and aahing with pleasure. Then I had the leftover sundried tomato dish (that my wife didn't finish and gave to me) for lunch. Just as wonderful today! Our best memory from the first visit was the fig salad. We've ordered it with our pizza several times; it's enough for the two of us for two meals as a side salad. We've eaten at dozens of Italian restaurants here and elsewhere, including Italy; we've never found dishes like these. Only at a very few (maybe 5 or 6) do I say "balanced". These are. We define "special" as "We're willing to drive an hour to eat here." Aren't we lucky that it's five minutes away.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food and service was great. We did order delivery once but it wasn't as good as eating at the restaurant... still a great local place!
