We catered for 20 people and the food was amazing and super affordable!! We had tons of leftovers and every single person was satisfied. The owner and the chef were friendly, accommodating and helpful. We had perfect lamb chicken beef and grilled vegetables. Salad was fresh and rice perfectly cooked. The baba ganoush and hummus were delicious as always, and the secret garlic sauce hit the spot. Thank you so much for taking the stress from worrying about food for a Christmas party!!!

Hidden gem! Wow. I always had to travel to East Side Pocket on Thayer..and man do I love their Middle Eastern food, but man what a Pain to Get To of from Cranston/Warwick area. Well no problem, cause I found this hidden little gem Takkei. Wow. I'm in love. I was so excited to find a local Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant that served all my favorites that I bought a little of everything. I bought the chicken kabob entree which came with 2 skewers of chicken and veggies (tomatoes and onions) done right (charbroiled) on the grill. Wow. Delish. Came over a bed of rice and served with A nice little delightful salad and some French fries that my kids gobbled up. It was also served with some nice hummus and some garlic sauce. Which is very unique and interesting to say the least. I found myself continuing to go back at it...hmmm. Very good. As I said I purchased a lot of my faves. I also got Kibbeh, grape leaves and Falafels. Wow I was in heaven. I was shocked to find such uniqueness in a very small hole in the wall type restaurant in Cranston. When I was done I knew I would be back. The kinda was freshly made in front of me and was delicious. The outer casing crumbled as the meat inside melted in my mouth. The grape leaves had so much flavor. They were absolutely delicious..... If I had to say anything remotely a little bit down about my meal, which was AMAZING!! Hmm.. I would have to say that the Falafels had a little bit different of a texture and taste than I'm used to but still we're very good. So it's not even a negative, just a bit different. But would I order it all again, tomorrow? YESSSSSSSAAAA. Love you Takkei. Cant wait to see you again, real soon!! And to top it all off the gentleman who is there cooking and taking my order had amazing customer service skills and that is very important to me!!!! He treated me with respect, seemed like he cared about me being there and was a true professional. Thank you kind sir. And the added on pita chips were amazing !!!!!

Fabulous, tasty food (some of the best babaganoush I've ever had), generous portions. Everything is fresh and delicious. Great for take-out. Only a few tables. The owners are lovely and friendly. Opened two months ago, and we will definitely be back. This is exactly the kind of restaurant every neighborhood needs!

A warm & welcoming family-run restaurant! When you step in, you’re greeted with a warm smile that it instantly makes you feel like you’re visiting friends. The food is absolutely delicious with delicate Middle-Eastern flavors. You cannot beat the shawarma & falafel from this place. Service is pretty quick too. As noted on several previous reviews, owners are very polite, respectful & very friendly that you sincerely hope they succeed & the restaurant is here to stay for several years to come.

The food is amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly. I had a chicken Shawarma wrap which was seasoned to perfection. I also enjoyed a falafel wrap which had the perfect amount of sauce. In my opinion this is the Best restaurant of this variety in the area!
