Calabria Pizzeria

Prices good. Pizza is not good though. Cheese has absolutely no taste. Sauce very bland. Doughy too. Getting a good pie isn’t easy anymore. I guess the art of good pizza making is becoming a lost art. I would pay extra for a good pie with quality cheese, good dough and a tasty sauce like in the old days. Was very disappointed.

I have been ordering from Calabria for about two years. Have known the business and family for 30+ years…my son worked there and was held to high standards. quality is not what Tony would have settled for. My last two pizzas have had a very watery bottom crust…falls apart…difficult to remove from the pizza box. Have had orders not placed with Slice delivery and then not receive the order….looking for a new pizza restaurant.

(Calabria Tony had good food and service in the past.) On 5/4/22 ordered two pizza pies they were awful. On 5/5/22 I ordered a Ham Sub, Provolone Cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, Mayo and splash of oil & vinegar. We asked for extra ham even if it cost extra. I Came home with the sub one slice of ham ONE SLICE! $12.00 I was fit to be tied. Eating lettuce, I brought it back. I was very upset. It was closing time 930pm no customers. Black man said to me if you raise your voice, I'm not helping you. Instead of saying I apologize. He took my sub in the back they looked at it. The guy who made the sub was scratching his chin like "what should I do" as the black man was telling him it has one slice of ham. Watching this for a few minutes. I got frustrated. I told them keep the sub and the $12.00 Black man said OK thank you. Thats when I really made my mind up that I'm Done with them. Sad thing is Calabria I loved Calabria they fed me 3 times a week sometimes more lunches and dinners. This place changed for the worst.

Edible but that's about it. I am still in search for a great go-to pizzeria but have not found one yet. Calabria is definitely not it. If you see this review and know of a good one in the area, please post. See attached picture. That is supposed to be a baked ziti pie. It looks like they just took bake ziti and threw it on top of a regular pie. The pie was soggy and sloppy. All of the toppings slide off if you are not careful picking it up. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this was so disappointing.

Calabria Pizza Restaurant is fantastic. We had lunch delivered to us and they were on time, food was so so delicious. And we could not believe how big everything was. Nobody had a bad meal. We ordered for one of our employees and it was the best birthday ever.... I highly recommend this place. We will be ordering again and again and again.....

My order took an hour and a half to be delivered, even though I am less than 5 minutes away. When I received my order it was incomplete, the pizza was cold and they also missed the paper plates and napkins I had specifically ordered through the website. Half an hour later I finally got the rest of my order. There were no attempts from their employee on the phone to make it right. My company used to order a lot from them but they just lost my business after today. Very disappointed!
