I am giving this place 2 stars only for our server Juan who did the best he could. As far as sanitary standards go, everyone hung out near the sushi rolling area with no mask laughing and talking constantly above the food being made. The sushi chef himself was drinking from his cup and then continued to make the sushi rolls. I watched as he struggled for nearly 20 minutes during a slow time to make the 4 rolls that we ordered and throughout this time he referenced the menu that was hanging on the wall about 12 times reading through it with the waitress to make sure he's making it right. After 20 minutes, I expected these to be the best sushi rolls I've had in my life. Much to my disappointment, one of the rolls was missing everything but crab and he put cream cheese inside in error. I asked the waiter to please have this remade since it's not what we ordered and we do not eat dairy. The waiter brought out one of the 4 rolls first and we asked for Wasabi to which he responded that it will come on the other plate when he finishes making it which were finished another 6 minutes later. The rice and seaweed were okay but the rolls themselves were not cut through and I found them falling apart as soon as I tried to pick them up and separate them. The presentation was good. Either way, this was the first and last time I will be trying this place out.

This place is always good to me..... But this last time they were GREAT to me! I ordered the filet hibachi and got the normal amount of fried rice but had more steak than rice and the steak was perfect cooked. It's hard to get restaurants to cook rare steak the way I like it... Hardly cooked at all. Sushi always tastes right as well. Big thumbs up 😊😊

This was our first trip to this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. Being of Japanese descent we have always had to go to Atlanta for good Sushi. This was Excellent!! Had sashimi tuna and octopus. It was fresh and very good. The tuna melted in my mouth. Also had spicy tuna roll, California roll (just to test before diving in head first. LOL...). Delicate and fresh. The wife had the Tempura...cooked to perfection. Veggies still crisp, shrimp hot and YUMMMM. Next trip, all out!!! Will update.

This is our go-to for not only sushi, but a place to go for great service, great food and a small town atmosphere. We can walk in the restaurant and the sushi chef and waitresses know exactly what my son will get the second we walked in the door. They are kind, loyal to their loyal customers and have great food. We highly recommend this restaurant. They have great values, it’s a small business with great food. We are always satisfied when we leave!

We love this place…. we usually go about once a week and the food is great. However, the last few times we have ordered out, we have received extremely small proportions of food in our to-go boxes. It is significantly less than it used to be. We received our orders today and the rice in my hibachi chicken only filled up about half of its section in the to-go box. The chicken is less than it used to be as well. With this being said, the prices have gone up. So we are getting less food for more money. Until this is fixed we will not be going back. I don’t mind spending a little more on food given the circumstances we’re in but I expect to have proportions of equivalent value. This place has gone from a great place to eat and that I would recommend to anyone to a place that takes advantage of it’s customers.

My family have been frequent customers of Osake for a year or so, and the food is top notch, from the sushi to the hibachi meals to the bubble tea. Also, we want to thank our excellent server, Britni. She is always smiling, very friendly, dedicated to fantastic service, and treats us like family. Thank you Britni !! You're the best !!
