We loved the Mystic grill! As big vampire diaries fans we had to try this place. We went the week before Halloween and the were doing a Harry Potter theme which was cool. The sweet tea fried chicken was delicious, next time I will order extra gravy and substitute the green beans as they were a bit too crunchy for my taste. The sinful Salvatore drink was amazing. We sat on the rooftop which was perfect. Our server was Andrew and Addie also helped us out, I have to say that was the best service I've had in a long time! They were very friendly and informative about the area. We already can't wait for out next trip!
Yummy experience at this location. The blackberry salad was delicious & The Purple Goat drink was tasty.
One thing to note is they do not take reservations, expect ~45-60 min wait. Check out the downstairs store after, your receipt gets you a discount (not on blood bags)
Nice place to visit. Our Waitress was nice and prompt. The place is clean.. However do not expect the inside to be Vampire Diaries perfect. But in the ladies room bring a pen and sign your name. I'm the "Klaus is life 2022" post.. Lol. The only sad experience was the bartender forgot to make our alcoholic drinks. So we had them removed from the bill. But it was done quickly and with no problems at all. Don't lose your receipt it's worth 10% off the Alley store downstairs. Have fun.
What a fantastic find!! We will definitely be coming back again!! I personally had the grilled meatloaf with asparagus & green beans. The Mystic Salad was large enough for 2-3 to share, just make sure to ask for more dressing.

Love it! We had a party of 6 so we had to wait at the bar until a table was ready. Only took about 20 minutes (January travelers) so it wasn't peak season. We ordered the Mystic Midnight at the bar and it was delicious. The bartender gave us the tip to keep our receipt and we could get 10% off in the gift shop. Got our table and they have QR codes for the menus since Covid. We got each of the appetizers. We liked all of them. The goat cheese is on the fancier side and I probably wouldn't reorder but it was nice to try something new. Got burgers for our main course. They are huge! Easily could have split them. We got the clocktower and Mystic burgers and both were delicious. They have winder fries, sweet potato and pasta salad as choices for sides. Everyone got a different one and shared. I liked everything there but the sweet potato fries were my favorite. Easter egg to look for! 2 of the bar stools have plaques on the back to honor Alaric and Stefan! We walked upstairs to see their signed menus from the cast. Then went down to the gift shop. Loved everything. They even have a spot of displays of actual costumes from the show. All in all I was very impressed with it! Definitely will be back!
Went there obviously bc of vampire diaries, it’s not the exact same format/layout of the grill in the show since they used a different building, but they tried their best to replicate it in a smaller space. Love the vibe, love the food, love the drinks, our waitress was so nice. Telling us if we kept our receipt we could use it to get a discount in the gift shop below. But of course I lost in on the way from the table to the gift shop, even tho it’s about 30 steps away lol. Would recommend going tho!!!!

I had read about the sweet tea honey fried chicken. It sounded great, this would be the under statement of the year. This was the most tender, greatest chicken I've ever had in my life! The mashed potatoes and green beans were perfectly cooked and as yummy as can be. Considering I had two drinks an appitser and two entrees it was only about $60. So for a restaurant that is prominently featured in a television series to be this reasonably priced was outstanding! We had the best server I've had in a long time. I'll definitely dine here again before I leave town.
If you’re a vampire diaries fan then this is a must see. If you’re not a fan, well, the food is actually pretty good. I expected that the food wouldn’t be very good but actually I was really impressed. The only thing is the inside of mystic grille does not look like the inside as shown in vampire diaries. Seems like they did the mystic grille scenes somewhere else.
