Food was good, but service was very slow on a Friday night. Slow is fine, when it is at least attentive, but we had to keep asking for things like refills, spoons for the soup, asking a second time for more bread. We may have sat there for two hours without ordering a main course with how server kept trying to get away from our table. I had the catfish and succotash. It was good. Croquette appetizer was good. Butternut squash soup was fine.

This place was top notch. Fantastic service, amazing food. We both had fish, with drinks, after dinner coffee, and a classic cheesecake. All of it was absolutely nice. Lovely atmosphere for a nice, upscale, quiet dinner.

Our experience here tonight was extremely disappointing. Service was unreasonably slow. Waitress explained that the chef was working alone in the kitchen and yet other tables who came after us were served before us. I was not satisfied with Claire, the manager’s, explanation of a ravigote topping. Dish was described as having a crabmeat shrimp ravigote topping and there was no evidence of shrimp. The management failed to do anything to address my disappointment which is too bad. I’m a resident of Terrabella and will tell all my neighbors of my experience. Shame on you, Forks and Corks.

Joey greeted us and he was great, Amanda, our waitress was super sweet and attentive. Matt, the chef came out and personally talked to us and asked us about our food and experience and all we could do was give him kudos it was a great all-around experience.

Fun fine dining! This restaurant makes me feel like I live in New Orleans again. A rare fine on the northshore. Trendy, tasty, and they actually know how to make a cocktail. Definitely going back.

I was not a fan of Corks and Forks when it first opened....food was mediocre and so was service. So when I was told that’s where our Friday night group was going, I was hesitant. But boy was in for a surprise! The food was great! I had the special: crunchy oyster appetizer (delicious) and a surf and turf entree.... the steak was tender and praise god not overcooked.... the shrimp were perfectly done. And yes this time the service was wonderful...i.e,.. my wine of choice is a Chardonnay that is rich and flavorful so that’s what I ordered when I came in. However this Chardonnay was flat and tasteless ...but the beauty here is that all I had to do was get the waiters attention and tell him I didn’t like it and he immediately brought me back something I knew I couldn’t pass up which was a lovely Beefeater martini. That’s the kind of service that pleases a guest! I certainly hope Corks and Forks stays open with the ridiculous foolishness it’s going on with renovating bridges (bridges I never knew existed on bootlegger) it’s hard for people to get to the restaurant. I also hope that the people who have spent big bucks to build beautiful homes in Terra Bella won’t all leave because of the 2 million apartments that have just been built on the site as well. Service is hit or miss. I think they are short staffed with COVID and if they get busy, be prepared to wait. We went with a group of about 8 people and waited two hours for food. I’ve been pre-COVID and it was never like that! Hoping it gets better. Cute interior and vibe, food is usually good.
