Bear's Resturaunt

Great little poboy shop. Now I'm assuming this is covid related but it was disappointing that they didn't have seating anywhere and we had to eat in our car but the place was recommended and I wasn't from around there so I tried it. The shrimp poboy was great. Shrimp were good size and plentiful. The fries tasted a little dry almost as if they were thawed and refrozen or freezer burnt but I didn't worry too much about them because even half a poboy was plenty to fill me up. All in all a great little place to eat and the wait wasn't bad either. I'm sure I'll try them again the next time I'm in the area. Hopefully they'll have a place to sit and enjoy the meal by then.

I will be truly disappointed if I arrive in heaven one day and there is no Bears sandwiches. These things are heaven sent and must be made with angel dust because they are the best sandwiches I have ever had. Without question. The Ferdie is fantastic and if you aren’t licking juice and stuff off of your elbows you aren’t doing it right. This is appointment eating anytime we are within 2 hours of Covington (we live in North Mississippi) The line is worth the wait. Every time.
