My girlfriend and I frequent this establishment once in a blue moon, however after our experience last evening I believe we may enjoy this fine restaurant more often. I will concede that we had our sights on a barbecue joint up the street from Pane e Vino. However as we walked past this establishment and saw the lively ambiance we decided to change our venue of choice. I'm very glad we did. We started off with the shrimp fried mozzarella, lets just say there wasn't a bite left to be had. Then as too our main dishes my girlfriend opted for a salmon dish which she thoroughly enjoyed and I went for my usual the piggy pizza. Delicious all around. We also enjoyed a few rounds of drinks from their fine selection. As to the prices, yes I dropped a little over a c note for our fine meal but you know what.. Good food costs money and I have no issue with that. This isn't a poor man's restaurant and if your the type that hates opening your bill fold a little wider than I'm sure there's a olive garden somewhere down the road. 5 stars to Pane e Vino.

Enjoy eating here for the food and ambiance. A little pricey but food tastes authentic. My wife and I enjoy the ribeye pizza. Parking only on street which can be a problem on weekends. We go during the week to avoid problems. Rafael (server) is great. Strongly recommend.

Authentic Italian cuisine! Dishes were absolutely flavorful and delicious. The shrimp mozzarella is cooked to perfect. Calamari was seasoned just right and the mushrooms batter was outstanding! Just did order pick up due to covid. Inside looks beautiful and seems to have a nice romantic atmosphere!

Very busy on weekend but good food! Big bar but they don't let people sit at the bar "cause it blocks walk away" however while we were eating at our table we noticed a group of 5 came in and they seemed to know the bar tender lady & she had now issue letting the sit at bar.

So tonight we decided to try this spot in old town covina, they are currently allowing dinning but outdoors in a makeshift area of the street, but its decorated with amber lighting and easy ups and closed off with street barricades , anyhow the atmosphere is nice, it really does feel cozy with the weather cooling off a bit, so to the food part, I had a spaghetti with clams and scallops, let me just say it was delicious, I can feel and taste the oil that was lightly sauted with the garlic, I could taste the clammy texture that paired delightfully with the tomatoes, all just melted in my mouth, our server was funny and knowledgeable, just made our first experience that much nicer, here are some pics of our meal, well at least the few I got to snap of because I was so focused on devouring the delicious food, did I mention the bread was to die for, although they say to stay away from bread because it takes up real estate in your stomach, their bread is freshly baked, mix it with some oil and vinegar CA-POW its amazing! The bread just almost melts in your mouth , it's so warm and buttery I was eager to ask for another basket full, but I had to leave room for my dish, so there you have it people, I highly recommend this spot, yall won't be disappointed. 👍🏻👍🏻

First time at Pane e Vino. Seafood soup was Delicious! And service outstanding, they close at 9 and we arrived at 8:50 and they served us a drink and meal and they waited until we were done.

I want to start by saying that I have never eaten here and because of 1 man I never will. My review is based on the rude personnel. My husband, son, and I walked in this evening and a very nice young lady was ready to seat us when this very rude man walks up to us and said “if you don’t have a reservation It’s 30 mins.” No “hello, are you being helped? I apologize if she gave you incorrect information but…”. No, just rude and curt. The young lady then comes back to seat us and that same rude man seats the party behind us at that table. It was made very clear that he either didn’t want to help us, or wasn’t interested in seating anyone who didn’t have a reservation. My husband wanted to give a small local business our patronage, but no thank you, I can give my hard earned money to someone else.
