First time here. We ordered a salad, pretzels, fish tacos and Mac&cheese. It took 30min (less than half the capacity at 1:30pm on a Sunday) to start eating but at least everyone liked their choices. Service was very friendly.
Fried Chicken bowl was delicious. Think KFC’s version but with high quality and tastier ingredients! Mac and cheese was also amazing. Delicious and creamy. Drinks were pretty good as well. Sat at the bar. Bartenders were very pleasant and constantly checked in on us if we needed anything. Free parking in parking lot that is shared.
First time here. We loved the comfy bar stools and the vibe inside the restaurant. Friendly service. Limited menu. I ordered a tasty salad with mandarin oranges and peanuts; it was freshly made and tasty! The chili was homemade and had a nice light kick.
This place has small menu that packs a punch with a nice selection of draft beers and good mixed cocktails. Our bar tenders were upbeat with great personality!

My experience at Black Oak is consistently good. Everything I've ever eaten has been thoughtfully prepared and consistent with the menu description. Staff are courteous, efficient, and very accommodating.
The truffle fries are DELECTABLE.
My family and I went here for dinner and i must say, food was really really great. You seat yourself, which was new for me. The place was clean and fairly busy! Waiter was very very kind and took to all my needs. Because it was busy, it took a bit for the food to come out but i didn’t mind the wait since the waiter brought the drinks out fast. A MUST order is the Crispy Fried Buffalo Cauliflower. It almost tastes like chicken and was sooo crunchy with the perfect amount of spicy. Next ordered the Gold Fever Chicken sandwich. Very good. Didn’t know the salad was a $4 up-charge so i would’ve stuck with fries. My family members order Fish & Chips (sub with a salad) and a Turkey Ciabatta. I was told they were both very good. They definitely looked super appetizing! Overall very good experience. A bit of the expensive side. Paid 85 for 3 people. Not awful but more expensive than your usual pub food.
Visiting from out of state and happened upon this excellent restaurant where we had a delicious Sunday brunch with outstanding service provided by Meghan, who was wonderful with our food allergy concerns. Food portions were huge and the price was so reasonable! We highly recommend, and we will be sure to visit again when we're in the area. Thank you so much!
Arguably the best restaurant in Coventry (albeit among limited options). Good food and service; not great. Good drink selection. Overall, worth a visit if you are in the area.
This restaurant is pretty awesome , located not too far off the highway , Easy to find with plenty of parking. They offer plenty of seating around the bar and restaurant . The offer live music on certain days and musical bingo. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Now on to the food. What we ate from appetizer to entree was all delicious as you see below , and it was all perfectly cooked. If you want a new spot to try , drive here and prepare to leave overly satisfied.
First off...the food was unexpectedly great...second...its been years since I've visited a restaurant and the portions were so big that I couldn't finish my plate...and the prices weren't as bad as most chain restaurants either...it was a nice surprise find not being a local and never hearing about this place...great job...we will be back here again.
